Agreed with those unenthused about that Alessia Cara Amazon exclusive. Can’t imagine many choosing to listen to that outside of a playlist. Would rather they used some less well known songs. River worked well as it was never a big Christmas standard like Rocking Around The Christmas Tree/Jingle Bell Rock etc.

Yeh agreed it will probably do well like Justin’s last year and John Legends the year before but it won’t be remembered hugely!

Ed still with 6 in the top 10 after the middle of his first week isnt bad, must be streaming alright.

I wouldn't be so sure about the Alessia Cara Amazon/Alexa song doing all that well. Not every Amazon exclusive charts highly, last year the lesser-name releases from Carrie Underwood and Jamie Cullum didn't go anywhere near the top 40. I reckon they've got some bigger names yet to release which they will give more of a push to, especially if they managed to score Justin Bieber last year.

Alexa managed to get Jamie Cullum back in the singles chart for the first time in 11 years though (was actually pleased it made it to #61). They even managed to give Carrie her first ever Top 75 here too (just!).
