There were plenty of people to choose from to fit this description, but the leading answer here was Robbie Williams who left boyband Take That to pursue a successful solo career. A very subjective question to end with, for nobody knows at this early stage of the twenties what will come out on top when the Top 100 of this decade is announced, but it seems that Adele can't make it 3 of 3 for her single Easy On Me, and so instead the winning answer here is Ed Sheeran with Bad Habits. It will surely go down as a memorable Ed Sheeran single, but surely he has time to release many more big singles to come this decade, so time will tell how it stands by 2030.

Started well then epic fail. I don't think the record of the week results were out for Adele when I submitted my answers.... should have changed it to that later in the week!

 

And Robbie was my first thought but thought Cheryl may be more popular having come from a girl group!

Oops I was doing rather well in this until going pear shaped in the last 3 questions - don't know why in retrospect I didn't think of 'Photograph' or Robbie Williams, both seem very obvious now! Ah well, at least I didn't get any 0 pointers, even someone joining me with my incorrect answer to the final question :lol: I was not sure about that question, I did consider just putting either 'Easy On Me' again or 'Bad Habits' but then I thought that realistically they're probably not songs that are going to have that kind of staying power, 'Heat Waves' stuck out to me as a good answer that might actually realistically be correct as the kind of song that's just going to get a certain baseline of streams every week for the rest of eternity... then I realised just after sending it that that didn't even come out this year haha.
