Wow congratulations to Lookylion for the runaway victory! :o :o I certainly wasn't expecting this but well-deserved! To the person who predicted Lookylion to get a win earlier this year, well done :P Bre, has Lookylion scored the most number of points per nation in BJSC? :thinking:

 

Also my first top 10!!! What a way to end the year in BJSC with a best result :yahoo: :w00t: :dancing: Hopefully next year will begin much better than this year in terms of results but our entry for BJSC 141 is going to be risky!

I think that's my favourite winner in a long time and winning by such a humungous margin at that *.* pleased to see Mosque that high too. That was incredibly catchy!

 

I'm so glad I changed my entry half way through the week after confirming seconds in lol. As the one I had confirmed was a lot slower than this one and this just got better and better the more I heard it. 14th is a new position for us in the top 20.. glad it didn't slip into 15th lol.

 

Shame to see Persephonia so far down there :( was my 12 in the semi. Great hosting Addy. What a thoroughly fun host you've been and excellent presentation!

11th is way, way ahead of even my top expectation so I'm elated. Only actually my second 11th ever after Hozier's Take Me To Church in 2015. Also with N DNTN's big gap over us, it looks like we'll be 11th in the EOY chart, so fingers crossed for breaking the glass ceiling next year!

 

Thanks so much to all the voters, I really appreciate it - the four 18s was amazing. I sent An Angel's Love of course because I adore it but also because I was determined somehow to disprove the 'trance is dead' theory. I don't think a few songs that didn't connect with people means a whole genre can be written off, so I'm so happy it got over 200 points and I'll look forward to sending trance again in the future <3

 

The top two is fantastic, matching my own albeit the other way round, but Holiday really is a great song and very accessible so I guess maybe should have seen a landslide win coming - big big congrats to Lookylion. Extremely impressive results for a few others too - Altyr and Bøtanikkä especially. Lovely to see Mosquetania top ten too.

Happy to see us ending the year with another country getting a first win, was only a matter of time for Lookylion with them bursting out of the gate with a big hit on their first attempt. The song is fine, was only a few places outside my own votes, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not a little miffed why it's been such a landslide winner / matching the record number of top scores, it was actually my least favourite of the 3 Confidence Man entries to date oops, where was this outpouring of love for 'Better Sit Down Boy'!!1 :kink: But hey, 19 (!) people placing it in their top 2 and a triple digit points lead can't be argued with!

 

Hooray for N DNTN hanging onto #2 at least even if very distant, and *.* for Hendinia quietly zooming into the top 3 at some point since I last checked, making for a pretty strong top 3 overall. Also not against Altyr being in the top 5 and there's some good stuff in the lower half of the top 10, great to see BYRTA being 2 for 2 on top 10 hits and Sovarasma earning a well deserved first top 10 finish!

 

Cumulonimbia/Kathaldazia finishing next to each other feels appropriate with how much they are practically merging into a single entity these days (in a good way)! Also fabulous to see Pagasa sneaking into the top 20 to also set a new peak, post rock bloc reliable as ever <3 and speaking of reliability... Kælan Mikla really came 22nd again *_* and with almost the same number of points as when I sent them as well ('Draumadís' got 157 so just a slight drop this time). I suppose that still isn't bad but c'mon y'all they deserve better than this xxx any takers to try sending them a third time some day? :lol: A pretty good result for Skall and not bad for Terra Avium & Dobago too.

 

And the most important result of all... Jadaphonia finishing next to each other :cheeseblock: for what I believe is only the second time ever in a main contest after we came 17th & 18th in BJSC 110! (It was me who was ahead that time so appropriate for Jade to take the lead this time x).

Just catching up, Congrats on the debut Wholune! A fantastic job hosting Addy, beautiful presentation. Great finish for N DNTN as well, great song, prob my fave from BJSC this year.

 

15th, very chuffed with that, not unique as I got it with YooA, but it got its fair share of love, even an 18 from Rolloland :wub:.
