It seems TikTok is striking again this time turning to a D&B rework of Men At Work's Down Under which sits just outside the Top 100 on Spotify today

Should this somehow makes its way to #1, Colin Hay (at 69) would be the third oldest person to make the top spot :magic: (behind Captain Tom & Elton John)

I did wonder when I saw the thread title if it would be a cover of that song.

Certainly much rather it be in this style than 'Friday' or that awful remake of 'Don't Think I'm Not' that was floating around a few months ago.

Moves up a spot to #50 on Spotify today! Nowhere to be seen on Apple Music or iTunes though..

It did enter the dance chart at #38 yesterday though.

There is truly no song immune to returning to prominence via a random dance remake lmao

(Intrigued at this apparently being drum n bass though, at least that's something a little different)

Thinking a Top 40 debut is more and more likely for Friday. Comfortably in the Top 30 on Spotify now as of yesterday and maintains at #25 today

EDIT: And it's now confirmed to be at #42 in the chart update

This is a bit of a mess oops. I guess there are some 'okay bits' in the middle but overall it just sounds all over the place lol. Campaign for the original to get some re exposure from this x

I'm enjoying this more and more.

I think the knowledge that the original Men at Work member is credited on it makes it more acceptable.

Weird question, but how do you pronounce LUUDE? Is it "LUD" or "LOODE" or something different entirely?

I am *loving* this at the moment. It's an absolute mess, but that's the beauty of it.

I also just realised that Luude also made 'Sink or Swim' feat. Example a few years ago! That had completely escaped my mind but I quite liked it back then.

I would imagine it's "Loode"

Thank you.

I was thinking along those lines too.
