Easy On Me seems the only one that kinda makes sense to be reset as it’ll be #1, but all the other are so pointless. How does Overpass Graffiti gain from a few more weeks top 20? Especially when the next single is supposedly ready to go.
Ew at Easy On Me - perhaps Ed’s label should switch the reset from Overpass Graffiti to Shivers so that goes back to No 1 instead!
Its disappointing for Gayle as for a while it looked certain to be number 1 this week. Based on the sales Ed Sheeran looks very likely to hold the album number 1 this week and top 5 album sales are far higher than I was expecting.

Buzzjack would crash if that happened :(

Ed probably made an appointment with the OCC and asked for manual reset himself

Can confirm Shivers would actually be #1 if it were on SCR...!!

Wow the label should have chose that instead. Although I guess cause it’s not the latest single they can’t.

These resets make the charts so stale. January should be about fresh music for 2022. I wonder will we see a trend of more music from musical films charting more regularly. Is there any chance 30/90 from Tick Tick Boom can survive in the top 100 by Friday? Would like to see that happen.

Yeah I think it has to be a song that's currently being promoted (used as loosely as possible) - benefit of Adele not moving on yet...!

Looking good!

How convenient that Mr Brightside dropped out of the Top 40 after all those resets, and it looks like Blinding Lights will too. Seems I was onto something about that too.

If Easy On Me can get a reset, why not Heat Waves, at least it has the chance of a new peak

It became one of the most exciting chart weeks in recent times seeing new songs takes off after Christmas like 2017 with Jax, JP, Starley etc adding to a whole host of new entries to the top 40. This is completed unwarranted and a massive step backwards imo.

Besides they definitely shouldn't have reset EOM as she has two other tracks that can benefit from taking over now.

Wonder if this will put to bed the conspiracy theories about Ed Sheeran on here, surely Ed’s label(or Ed himself as some on here would like you to believe) would have got ‘Shivers’ changed to SCR just to get another week at No1 if he’s that interested….

also I'm not surprised but it's a bit ridiculous for 'Drive' to qualify for such a reset, the song came out half a year ago!

'My Heart Goes (La Di Da)' deserved it more, poor Becky Hill not only having been robbed of a top 10 peak, now won't a much deserved extra top 20 week.

I doubt Heat Waves can now it's not the current single and 'I Don't Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance)' exists.

Overall though it’s unbelievable that EOM has been reset when the song had huge success in 2021 and was No1 for ages why not keep it on ACR and send the next single to radio, surely the album will sell more then?
