Further new entries to the Top 10 this week are Sabaton's The War To End All Years at No.7 (3,168 sales) and Kojey Radical's Reason To Smile (2,856 sales) at No.8.

As the frame nears its close, Nos 3 and 4 are unchanged from last week: Where Are You Now? by Lost Frequencies and Calum Scott (19,280 sales) and Make Me Feel Good by Belters Only (feat. Jazzy) (17,935 sales). Down Under by Luude ft. Colin Hay (16,800 sales) completes the Top 5, while ACR continues to impact long-time No.1 We Don't Talk About Bruno, which slides one rung further to No.8 (12,851 sales).

"Oochya is a word I wrote on the mixing desk in the studio when we were recording Dakota in 2004," he said.

"I don't know where it came from - me and recording assistant Brad used to say it to each together - it's a word that means absolutely nothing but makes you feel good saying it.

That's like Phil Collins with Sussudio!

I was out last night and no other chart mod was around, it's happened before and will probably happen again, it always gets posted eventually. I'll quickly get on it now.

glad the motto is climbing! Hopefully it'll give ava another top 10 after so many long running hits that never went top 10! also glad cat burns and em beihold are still climbing!

is George Ezra within distance of the top 10 or totally impossible?

still weird BMW is so low when it hit #2 on Spotify a couple days ago

I wonder if given the drop for BMW on Spotify is some of its streams have been disallowed or something. As considering its trajectory over the last 3/4 days it would've been challenging Dave on there for Number 1. The drop and loss of 100k streams between one day and the next seems a little weird.

Might account for its low position in the mids.

As Bray suspected in the Spotify thread its probably down to botted streams which have somehow gone past the Spotify checks as there didn’t seem to be any legitimate reason for the songs huge boost.

but then I’m not sure how OCC would’ve picked that up if they only get the information that Spotify gives to them?

I'm thinking they must not have a way of systematically filtering them out with the raw data for the Spotify chart, but can still report which are legitimate and which aren't?

I swear there was a similar case in fairly recent times.

I thought the number of streams that Spotify publish are unfiltered, and then the OCC has to filter them... maybe a big bunch were coming from the same IP address ;D

I mean, the 10 cap is not a Spotify thing, it's an OCC thing, so shouldn't be applied by Spotify in their daily streams

Or maybe some error in the OCC and it'll probably be something like top 5 tomorrow when corrected (I hope not though as it's awful)
Dave will be getting his revenge on Ed seeing as "Clash" was blocked off the top last year by BH
They must be fake bot streams for BMW, the fact it was up at 230k then the next day just drops to 140k, that’s way too big a drop for one day, looks like the OCC have picked up on it considering how low it is in the mids, with them Spotify numbers it should be top 20 minimum I would imagine.
