It's well deserved and fgey have waited a long time for it. Very interesting it swept the board on public vote and lost out in all panel related categories.

Official spoiler for Thursday 22nd June:

The truth about what happened to Rose Knight is finally revealed.

It’s a 35 minute episode too! Here comes Cindy!

Such a shame that the Sun posted she was returning.

Would’ve been such a WTF moment had the episode aired and then revealed Cindy.

Still excited for it though!

Ya it would have been a huge surprise if we didnt know in advance, interesting to see how it will all pan out but i think Cindy back is a good thing, im sure there will be some great scenes with her and Kathy. Im also calling it now but i think Linda and George will end up having an affair and most likely by the end of the year.

Nish definitely pushed Suki, no doubt about it. Vinny catching onto his behaviour could be a good development and certainly giving him something to do.

This week was a big step down from last week, but that's to be expected, however it was very good to see some continued focus on Jay/Ben/Lexi/Billy/Honey and the aftermath of Lola's death.

(Also here for Sonia calling out Reiss' biphobia *.*)

Got to say that the whole Elaine/George/Linda etc thing seemed to be a massive drop for me after the Lola storyline. I knew there would be a drop, but Elaine is definitely in competition with Reiss for my least fave character.

I did have a couple of "OMG" moments when Suki told Nish what she thought of him, and then the end of Wednesday's ep.

And just in case they haven't made me cry enough... they bring back Lola for a video moment!!

Nigh has figured out Eve/Suki I think, he has a shelf life and I don’t think he will make it to Christmas one way or another tbh, he’s my obvious pick for the Christmas death but I dont think it will be that straight forward. I’m sure now it’s hit a new peak, how much longer it can go on for but I suppose it could be an abuse storyline until then and that’s why they kill him.

Acute Triangle, Now That’s What I Call a Bap Van, Todger Town and Lesbi-Avenue all in the same episode :’)

EE is the only soap I watch so I’m biased but I’m happy to see that this past year under Chris Clenshaw was rewarded at the British Soap Awards, as the turnaround has been remarkable.

I loved the castvreaction to best soap win at the soap awards you could tell it meant alot, I found it funny the look on some of the faces of the emmerdale cast though, sour to say the least.

Anyone else just so over the Panesar's storyline now? It's just the same shit, different episode; there's little tension to any scenes and I've lost any emotional engagement I once had. It's dragging Eve down soooo much, she's just so wet simping around Suki all the time and the whispered dialogue - often in scenes that don't require it because no-one else is around - is really grating. A shame as I really enjoyed the storyline around last Autumn where there was a development or a reveal pretty much every episode, but it appears that's only because Kheerat was leaving and they wanted to get as much drama from the storyline before he left.
I do think the Panesars have suffered from the pandemic happening. It took a long time to set them up and they lost 3 of the original members before they had chance to do very much. It is getting repetitive now and Nish is so unlikeable as a character but he’s not even fun to hate.

It's quite often a toss up between the Panesars and the Ben Mitchell show.

Nish is just not a pleasant character. I know he's not supposed to be... but nor is Ravi, but you can't help but like the man.

At least it's better that Elaine throwing a drink over Freddie in the pub. I mean... what?? I'll just calmly launch a drink at someone and then when I find I'm in the wrong I'll just walk away... great landlady. Honestly, terrible character.

Exactly - and we know we're stuck with him until December, when they kill him off in the Vic.

It was funny when Docror Moon - not Alfie's brother, Doctor Moon from Doc Who - challenged tiny Nish to a fight though!!

I was never a huge fan of the Panesars i think they just always seem to miss the mark, at times there is signs of something big but its usually a let down.
That is true to an extent, I thought things were heating up with the Ranveer storyline last year and that flopped like a wet fish. Nish being brought in seemed to derail that quite a bit and his story is nowhere near as interesting.
