March 23, 20223 yr We do have 60 confirmed nations currently although awaiting 2 reconfirmations.Ā We've lost Beaverdonia, ElĆ«dan and Yehesi out of those who entered last month (I guess no one reminded Tim oop xx), plus Oslol who have the 1 contest ban, but quite a lot of returning nations to make up for it, welcome back Buzzjack Mountain, FljĆ³tavĆk, Hushkanukia, Pagasa, POPHub, Taahino, Thelonia, Utopia and Wholune (plus Cadelicia and Freedonia when/if they reconfirm)!Ā As things stand with Beaverdonia not entering we are looking at a rare case of a 3rd place country getting an auto-qualifier, so Singerpurear potentially getting quite lucky (although it would be foolish to say with any confidence yet if we'll end up on an even number of entries or not).Ā 'I Go' is great btw :heart: and I am also a fan of those other two vetoes too although both fairly obvious vetoes ('Pepas' didn't take off in the UK because xenophobia but it has been and still is absolutely huge worldwide, it's been in or just out of the global Spotify top 20 since August!)Ā Reconfirmedt an gigantic banger for ur nerves xĀ Aw I was quite excited for your original confirmed artist to appear in BJSC! March 23, 20223 yr Interesting that I normally notice the big worldwide hits that don't have any impact in the UK but I've never heard Pepas before. Probably a good thing it didn't take off here as it has an awfully cheap-sounding production.
