Posted March 18, 20223 yr uInOufqt02A Today marks 10 years since the first date of the Anti Tour. Part of Kylie's K25 celebrations, the tour consisted of intimate gigs and only included B-sides, demos and rare tracks. Below is the setlist from Wikipedia: "Magnetic Electric" (a bonus track on the Southern Asia tour edition of X) "Made in Heaven" (the B-side to Je ne sais pas pourquoi) "Cherry Bomb" (a B-side to Wow and Latin American bonus track from X) "B.P.M." On 2 April the song was performed as the last song before the encore. "Do It Again" (a B-Side to Wow and Mexican bonus track from X) was performed as the first song of the encore at all shows in England. "It's No Secret" (from Kylie) was performed impromptu at all shows in England. "One Boy Girl" (from Rhythm of Love) was performed during the encore at the 2 and 3 April shows. "Give Me Just a Little More Time" (from Let's Get to It) was performed impromptu on 3 April. "What Kind of Fool (Heard All That Before)" had a snippet performed during a show in Melbourne and one in Manchester. Were you lucky enough to attend? What were your favourite performances? What songs would you have liked to have appeared on the setlist?
March 19, 20223 yr This was such an intresting & unique concept for Kylie to do & very risky doing a set-list that doesn't include any of her signature hits, had any other artist done anything like this before coz I can't think of anyone. Well its certainly original & don't think many artsist would risk doing anything like this, certainly not in this day and age. The stripped back setting & that fantastic setlist, I would have loved to seen this or to attend any of her concert tours would be a dream come true to me as Kylie is my favourite artist of all-time & have so many fond memories of watching her amazing career progress in the way that it did. From the that set-list my standouts are "Magnetic Electric", "Cherry Bomb", "I'm Over Dreaming (Over You)", "Made In Heaven" & "Disco Down".
March 19, 20223 yr It def was brave and interesting and it worked brilliantly. I loved seeing songs that a never get performed having their moment in the spotlight and they are were all performed brilliantly and kylie herself really seemed to have enjoyed it alot. It bugs me it never got released though as its number 1 on my most wanted releases.
March 19, 20223 yr My highlights are Mighty Rivers, I'm Over Dreaming (Over You) and Tightrope. Surprised she didn't perform Baby.
March 22, 20223 yr I was at one of the Manchester gigs....electric atmosphere, packed and she definitely felt our love. Would love her to do another one.
March 22, 20223 yr From seeing the performances online kylie really seemed to have just let herself free and really got into the atmosphere and looks so casual and yet professional throughout.
March 22, 20223 yr I tried desperately at the time to get tickets but failed, it still upsets me greatly
March 22, 20223 yr Just spent the last hour or so watching back some anti tour videos, god its mesmerizing, kylie just draws you in, she has always had that ability but this just on another level,
March 23, 20223 yr Always humble and embracing. It was wonderful to see Pete Waterman attend a show. It says a lot that they remain friends after Kylie leaving his label, it is not something we often see happen in the music industry.
March 24, 20223 yr I dont think we have heard of any bad working relationships with Kylie, anyone she worked with talks fondly of her.
April 9, 20223 yr The anti tour was such a special time and I was lucky enough to go twice, it pains me that we probably won’t get anything like it again :nocheer:
