Would prefer one of my more unknown artists that have remained unknown rather than the likes of London Grammar, Billie Eilish or Glass Animals to be entered this time.

 

Pogo was a fun one for the first masquerade contest and was great to see it do so well! More of that please *.*

I'd quite like someone to have picked an act I flopped and DNQ'd with to give them another chance but I'm not really that bothered, I'm mainly just interested to see which of 100+ acts have been chosen.

I quite hope whoever gets Mosquetania manages to introduce me to a new song that I like! But whatever is chosen I’ll be happy and excited to see if I can sniff out who’s masquerading as me!

Nobody guessed I was Jadekissidonia last time, so hoping for more mystery of the same this teem!

In the past I've had Sonia y Selena and FM-84 chosen, two euphoric original entries from me, so maybe something darker would be interesting for variety. But I'm not really fussed :lol:

Yeah I've had, like Bré the two extremes, something I didn't vote for picked for my nation (Tei Shi) and then something which was great, fit my style (and won for its troubles) but was also still the most known BABYMETAL song.

 

So if I were given the option to pick, this time, I'd like something inspired most of all, and something that I could see myself entering in the year 2022, so if they recycle some of my early pop entries I'd find it less than ideal, but then I just wouldn't vote for them. As long as it's something they like.

 

best case scenario is if they use the chance to go weeb or power metal but that's probably a long shot and very self-indulgent of me

I'm hoping for some Ghostmane maybe, oe something avant garde like that, but we'll see :o

Shouldn't be, Lindsey will have set in place contingencies for if that happens.

I originally intended to always do that in Masquerade (I picked Bloodgroup who had DNQed for Terra Avium for the first one) but I really struggled with FARC in the second Masquerade and ended up recycling one of their more successful artists but made up for it by picking a song that sounded radically different from their previous entry.

 

I of course cannot comment on whether I have or haven't managed to do that this time x

I don't have anything majorly cheap on my list, other than All-American Rejects which was for a spinoff. I do hope they pick one of my artists from the main contest instead, but otherwise I'm not fussed over which artist. I can see either The Aces or BENEE being a likely choice.

There’s honestly only one act I’m really hoping whoever got me won’t use because it was a spin-off choice that doesn’t really fit my sound but we’ll see haha.
