Sam losing 127k to Harry on Spotify for Tuesday then so probably a couple of

K in chart sales across all streaming platforms. Not bad going by any means but the downloads really need to keep coming, especially considering that the lag in the streaming data will gift another 2k sales or so to Harry at the end of the week.

 

He is now at 1, 3, 12, 15 & 21 on iTunes so I think the drop in streaming will be made up in paid downloads.

How come the big climb for Tom Grennan on Spotify? Really hoping it can be a hit, deserves to be a summer smash.
I love Tom Grennan, but sadly I think this is really quite lame from him. :(

Really? I think it’s up there as one of his best

for me his absolute worst and a 0/10 song

zero personality, seems like written by an algorithm, plus doesn't sound like him at all,

it's like he threw his music style out of the window for this one

he used to be indie/rock now this is bubblegum pure (bad) pop

I really like ‘Remind Me’, but it is quite a stark change from his first album I think (‘Found What I’ve Been Looking For, Sober etc).

 

But then with his second album it was clear he was moving to a poppier sound anyway.

It's better than 'Little Bit Of Love' at least imo, although still pretty middle of the road. Nowhere near as good as 'Don't Break The Heart' which remains comfortably his best song, shame that ended up never making the top 40 despite showing promising early momentum.

 

I agree it doesn't sound that different from any of his previous singles though, at least the ones I have heard. 'Found What I've Been Looking For' was already pretty pop leaning I'd have said.

It's ok but yeah it sounds very middle of the road. 'Found What I've Been Looking For' is still his best. Forget that was him behind that tbh.

Bubblegum pop??? :lol: Are you hearing something different to the rest of us? 'Remind Me' doesn't sound very far removed from his usual sound at all, or even his first album sound.
Yeh his first seems to have been forgotten about unfort apart from FWIBLF as it’s been used on tv a lot!
