Still the #1 vinyl best seller on Amazon - holding off The Rolling Stones and Ed!

It's 14 in Amazon vinyl & CD best sellers.

Deluxe is 6 and Standard 7

Really don't think that's many sales though, but helps the total tick over.

I suspect price reductions will come in wk 3
Does Kylie have a hope of beating Ed? He can’t be doing much more than 10k this week surely?

I think Ed will do at least 50k this, kylie will be somewhere top 5.

I can't see Ed doing 50k. I think somewhere in the 30k-39k region.

I think Kylie should about do 14k-16k? But Olivia will overtake her and there will be Jorja Smith who will probably end up at #2.

I think kylie will be at either 3 4 or 5. I know eds sales have dropped and there doesn't seem to be much Hype around his new album but I'm still expecting around 50k.

When did the Disco reductions start….don’t remember them coming week one, certainly not on the vinyl….was it the standard CD?

Interesting how CD and cassette albums continue to be sold at the same prices despite inflation and will reduced very quickly, especially the standard CD…vinyl at least is priced higher for longer.

The music industry clearly takes income from many other sources these days, physicals a small part.

Disco had lots of offers right from start, including supermarkets etc.

She has now gone to USA

Week 2 will be helped by week 1 overhang and the G Norton show but a few of you need to be realistic with your sales Predictions lol.

Let's see what we get later when the mids come out

Second week totals and positions for her BMG albums below, none have dipped below 10k - even with shifts in the market the studio albums have been on par with each other (48k, 55k and 53k) so am expecting a solid week 2 for Tension.

Second Week Totals

Golden (#4) - 13,319

SBIT (#2) - 10,998

Disco (#5) - 15,183

Ed will be an easy #1 - he has 6 in person signing sessions at Banquet (different time slots throughout the day), plus 5 variants, signed HMV exclusive etc.,

We won’t be seeing the big numbers from Ed we’re used to with this album but #1 is in the bag for him.

The streaming from Ed is the big drama this week. Other than that hevwill be doing fine

I think Kylie and BMG need to keep taking risks this era.

Fan favourites are great but she needs to keep pushing these songs, unless she will be happy with physicals getting the peak

Padam and The Things We Do For Love visualer and Green Light visualer are the looks she needs to push for imagery. Bold and colourful and not too much hidden meaning lol.

Bops that get on playlists are all she needs

I hope we do get something new this week cos I'm not sure us streaming like monsters is gonna make a difference if we have no new promo scheduled.

I’m the opposite - I’ve got 25+ copies of Tension and always buy anything/everything she throws at us but on the flip side the album needs to have some legs of it’s own without a new variant dropping weekly.

I’m sure we’ll get a deluxe vinyl at some point but we’ve given it the start of massive sales and a #1 now it’s time for BMG to do their job and make it an ongoing success.

The sales info can be shared, for what I understand it's just the BBC first look info and official chart info on Friday that cannot be shared (due to broadcasting)
