Dont forget we still apparently have the Netlfix series The Residence where Kylie plays herself. I presume she will therefore sing a song during her part in the Series. Will this indeed be a new song from Tension as i dont think the Series is due out until early 2024?

Over 700 copies of the Amazon exclusive sold in the past month, with over 50 in the past week. + all those other exclusives and still 3 months of pre-order to go, pure sales are going to be huge!

Who else got the pop up on Spotify for the Spotify exclusive Tension album? :cool: I assume this variant hasn’t sold as well as anticipated… when it was launched on 26th May, the email said:

 

“A limited quantity is available for this offer - until June 9, 2023 at 12pm EST or while supplies last - so act quickly!”

 

Yet here we are on 20th June and they’re trying to get more eyes on it. Hopefully it does the trick. I guess with there being 6 vinyl variants that the label has spread themselves a bit thin… so there wasn’t a massive rush to get this particular version. It maybe needed to have something more unique about it than just another different set of colours.

It will be interesting to see what tensions opening sales will be and if having a big hit single will make much difference to the opening sales. Disco as it was in a big battle with little mix really got pushed hard by the label which it benefited from so if tension isn't in a close battle they might not push as hard and hold stuff back for outside debut week.

Pre ordered the Spotify one...the Disco one didn't immediately sell out either but I'm sure it was quicker...and of course was double vinyl...wish I'd bought it.

There needs to be a variant with the bonus tracks on…

Not sure. I think i read a tweet from him but it was early so would need to revisit. Apparently he dressed up in red cape etc for the event. It maybe be an old event, but the tweet was sent yesterday/today

A lot of people believed the coke bottle variant had sold out after it disappeared from Townsend within an hour. Maybe they haven't realised it's back?

I get a message on Spotify telling me as a top fan i can order this etc, but then it is widely available on Townsend

 

 

Maybe there has not been as muxh interest in the green cok variant of the album? Or maybe they have a higher print run than the disco one? I know I have ordered two. 😂

You have to know the link for the Coke Bottle variant to be able to access it, but if you share the link with people then anybody can access it. But it targets the top listeners* on Spotify, originally via email and then by pop up on Spotify itself.
