Oh my that’s not sleep at all! Worth it for Kylie though. :lol: I’ve woken up early too, just that excited to hear ‘Tension’ again!

“Vegas High” is everything! I expected a light weight song after the clip she shared on insta when announcing thr residency but wow what a song. Loved the album overall!

Okay, so finally dug in! Listened to the standard version, will let myself breathe a bit and listen to the deluxe tracks tomorrow.

 

The album is definitely more cohesive than I thought, though Padam is indeed an outlier. Hopefully they make more tracks with that type of sound for the eventual re-release.

 

Overall it’s a very well-thought piece of work and is very good to listen to from start to finish. I expected myself to love Things We Do for Love and Hands, but those didn’t impress me that much. At the same time love One More Time and actually like Vegas High much more than I expected from the snippets.

 

Story is LUSH. Amazing closer. Love it. 10 out of 10 grew on me in the context of the album. I think if it had been released just that — as an album track — it would had gotten much better reviews.

 

For now I definitely prefer it to Disco. Golden is still better for me, as to me Kylie really shone through there. And I think it’s on par with Aphrodite to me. Overall — amazing job, and tomorrow I have three more tracks to listen to, yay!

Has anybody’s else’s Amazon exclusive vinyl album been delayed?

I demand all Kylie fans to make Story as their favorite track!

Bought the 24-bit version on 7Digital (cheaper on there at 18.99 compared to 22.99 on Qobuz) and completed the iTunes deluxe edition.

 

Streaming now and waiting on physical editions.

 

So exciting! Happy release day!!

Up and until including 'You Still Get Me High' (which is fabulous), I was thinking this might potentially be her best album ever but it fell apart for me a bit after that, and then picked up again at 'Story'.

 

Potential to grow though so I won't write these tracks off immediately!

My little friend at BMG who also has the inside track at ARIA (pun intended) has told me that "Tension" will debut at number 1 in OZ with the biggest first week sales this decade. The promotion in oz in the last 24 hours has been huge, without actually Kylie, but rather Kamille appearing live on multiple shows.

My Tension deluxe CD is expected to arrive tomorrow.
