Ah my bad :kink: I still find it remarkable there are so few examples even when you remove the nationality bracket. But just goes to show (as if we didn't already know) how iconic and inspirational Kate Bush is. If there are any more examples anyone knows of please do enlighten me!

I think Tori Amos - Professional Widow is the closest

She wrote and produce the original album version

But of courses the version that went to #1 was a remixed version by Armand Van Helden

According to Genius, Van Helden was just credited as remixer, but the production is still only Tori

but not 100% sure if the info is correct

Should expect Joji to either be top 40 today or on Friday after the major gains it's been having the past few days even with no appearance in the Apple top 100 as well!
At least Kate Bush will be topping the chart on the week my most hated song You Need To Calm Down by Taylor Swift goes on permanent ACR
She was definitely the first but Dance Monkey by Tones and I is the most recent example I can think of, Move Closer by Phyllis Nelson also going back a fair bit. As for self sung, written and produced, there are none that come to mind, but would love to know if there are any examples of this or will Kate be the first? Unless Nelson was the first but I can't find any information on who produced it.

Move Closer by Phyllis Nelson was produced by Yves Dessca - his only number 1 as a producer.

I don't think that song was threatening to make a reappearance in the chart anyway somehow...

NO OTHER SALES INFO

george is doing really well! and wow at burna boy in the top 20 and onerepublic in the top 30! :o
great sales for George Ezra!!

As It Was is ~800 sales on last Wednesday's mids. About Damn Time is ~200 down, but that's a much smaller gap than for Monday and with the weather having improved I expect it will avoid ACR also.

It now looks like those 10 sales which took Go to #2 cost it a record 7th week at a #3 peak, although Kiss Me More only set the record of 6 a year ago.

Guess the climb for Sushi Restaurant is partly due to the Airpods advert? As well as Harry's tour of course.

Sam Ryder number 9 tonight so should get another top 10 week on Friday - Peru at number 12 so I don't see it returning to the top 10.
Can see him dropping to 10 as Ed will surely overtake. Unsure if Harry's Sushi will overtake though too since its jumped a few places from Monday!
hope sam ryder can grab another week in the top 10! also apparently he's doing a song with david guetta and sigala so i hope that gives him another hit under his belt!
