July 15, 20223 yr Jinkx ATE it and I'm so glad she had 4 stars now. I knew Trinity would also win, what a story arc! Jinkx most likely through to the final (unless there's a twist)! So deserving! And she won 3 of the lip syncs, that's quite crazy. Trinity will need to pull something else out of her repertoire because the same moves are getting boring and that's why she only had 1/4 lip sync wins.
July 15, 20223 yr Shea actually still has a chance if she wins this last challenge and one of the Top 3 do as well which would trigger a tiebreaker.
July 15, 20223 yr I would have had Monet over Trinity in the top, possibly even Viv, Jinkx absolutely killed it. Trinity was definitely funny but it felt like more of a storyline win because she absolutely bombed her other two roasts. And for a season with the likes of Monet, Jaida, Shea and Yvie to lipsync, it's a shame we've got so many Jinkx and/or Trinity lipsyncs :lol: Monet (Legends, TRL, acting, branding and roast) and Jinkx (Snatch, improv, speech, branding and roast) both have 5 wins for me now, they're killing this season!
July 15, 20223 yr Loved the roast, everyone did well! Jinkx and The Viv were the top 2 for me with Monet close behind. Trinity did well but her timing was still a little off/I assume she was a bit nervous delivering some of her jokes. Jaida handled herself so well when it wasn't going as she'd hoped! :wub: I really liked the runway theme! So many great outfits. I loved Jinkx being true to her witch self. :lol:
July 16, 20223 yr omg I screamed at Jinx and Trinity...I totally think Trinity deserved the win and she was funny. Next episode is going to be brutal especially with majority of them having only two stars...like I have no clue who could possibly be in the Top 4 (I have a feeling we will have 5 Finalists but let's see)!!
July 16, 20223 yr The Vivienne and Trinity would have actually been my top 2 this week, with Monet being 3rd. I’d have actually put Jinkx 4th, she was really funny but I thought the other 3 were better, however I have a feeling they cut a lot of her best stuff to make it look more even, I bet if they showed the full sets she would have absolutely ate the challenge. The other 4 weren’t that great, a few decent jokes here and there, but if it was a normal season some of them would have been in the bottom

July 16, 20223 yr Author I also would have had Viv & Jinkx as the top 2. Viv looked quite pissed off to be overlooked this time! Pretty good ep, although I will say at this point the focus every episode on Monet and Shea's quest for stars is tiresome and is giving me echoes of AS5. Especially because everyone else is here to have a good time. Shea is laser focused on winning but at the same time is overthinking the challenges and missing it on the runway half the time. It feels like she signed up in order to win again, not just to see what happened and try her best. It's coming off as bitter.

Pretty much all the queens do well each week and the runways have been really good across the board (mostly). They are also established queens so you would expect they would all be strong and hence the different favourites each week! Just looking through my rankings, all queens but Raja have had at least one week at #1 and there have been quite a lot of movement at times with some queens going 1-8 or 8-1 between weeks. But that's more so that I like all the queens and there's usually not much between them in the rankings between the top queen and the bottom queen. That's a shame. I did feel like her set was perhaps a bit short and there was likely more to it (especially with her closing the show). Whilst the season hasn't been as produced as much as a usual season, I've definitely noticed the last week or so a number of things being pushed. The big one being about Shea - which I feel something big is going to happen next week regarding her as they've had the "1 star Shea, how can she possibly get to the final" narrative for a couple weeks now. Maybe next week instead of winning a star you steal it off someone? Could you imagine Shea and a 2 star queen winning and then stealing stars from Jinx/Jaida or Trinity? You'd end up with 2 Queens on 3 stars and everyone else on 2. :lol: I don't know how a tie situation is going to work? Or maybe there will be a lip sync fight between the queens to decide which 2 should go into the finale if there are lots of them tied? That would be kind of amazing especially as it gives us a chance to see more lip syncs (I'm still mad the only Yvie lip sync we've seen is to a Dolly Parton song :lol: ). July 16, 20223 yr It's such a shame that Shea is coming across as rude/cold to most of people here...I find her very down to earth and not bitter at all...yes, they keep shoveling in our faces her being the only one with one star but I still think she's having as much fun as everyone else with more stars. Actually my only complaint with Shea is that i feel like this season she is giving us 'only' mediocre performance in challenges, when in reality I know she's much better than that!!! Not sure if it's because everyone else is much stronger or the challenges are not doing her any favors!!!
July 16, 20223 yr I don’t think Shea comes across as cold or bitter however I am finding her a bit boring and she has shown by far the least out of all 8, but then again she was the most recent competitor so I think that definitely has a reason as to why she’s not really progressed much since AS5

Someone like Raja killing the runways and doing well in challenges is such a great thing to see and is more impactful due to how long it's been since she was last on the show. The same goes for some of the other winners as well. Although you could make that same argument for Jaida and I find Jaida has been doing so well and coming across extremely likeable. But Shea has been on 2 seasons compared to just 1 for Jaida. Shea has been doing great this season and has come across as fun/likeable many times (her imitating Monet's runway walk was so funny on untucked). It's more of a production edit focusing on her 1 star status more so than Shea herself benig the issue?
July 17, 20223 yr Author Yes I agree with that. The obsession with the stars seems to be either telegraphing some sort of twist, or setting up a "Shea was robbed!!" narrative. Whereas for me if anyone was robbed it's Yvie. Such a shame we've only seen her lipsync the once & the song wasn't that up her alley.
July 17, 20223 yr I thought The Viv was easily the funniest behind Jinkx, Trinity seemed so random - even Raja and Monet were better! I think they underestimated how popular Viv would be and they just were never going to let her win / be in the top 4 :(
