July 25, 20224 yr Author Nearly at the end, but first we go to Awardinary, who sent Universal Everything by Leftfield! a4kwatovztI Hello Rich, Once again thank you for an inspired theme, there were lots of great discoveries for me, and here is how I voted; +12 Mitchell Claxton – Intimidate +10 L Ʌ V Σ N – I Thought You Were Real +8 ALY – Warriors +7 ARDL – Dancing Like A Monkey +6 KRTM – Touch Me +5 Denis Dekay – Six Million Ways +4 MRD – Out of Red +3 Kobe – SLAPSLAVE +2 Amelie Lens – Hypnotized (Joyhauser Remix) +1 Vanita – Symbiosis Thank you for your hosting! ^_^ Scoreboard 122 L Ʌ V Σ N - I Thought You Were Real (Jade) 110 ARDL - Dancing Like A Monkey 82 E Nomine - Vater Unser (Addy!) 77 KRTM - Touch Me (Dobbo) 70 MRD - Out of Red (Doctor Blind) 69 Amelie Lens - Hypnotized (Joyhauser Remix) (k👠th) 68 Mitchell Claxton – Intimidate (Cow Cow) 67 Leftfield – Universal Everything (Awardinary) 58 CAIVA - Take Me Higher (ITz Cody) 58 Denis Dekay - Six Million Ways (Brer) 49 Brandon Hombre & Trip-Tamine feat. Lady Leshurr - Boring Bitches (lewistgreen) Wardy gives 10 to L Ʌ V Σ N and 7 to ARDL, widening the gap a little before the last vote. Those guessing that it will be Roba. voting last will realise that this is where the winner is confirmed, he can’t vote for ARDL as he sent it! Mitchell Claxton gets the 12 and is up to 7th place while I’d like to cheer for the 8 points my entry received, pushing it way up the midtable!
July 25, 20224 yr Author Let’s celebrate our comfortable runner-up Roba., who of course sent Dancing Like A Monkey by ARDL and is voting last this evening! He said: “The voice effect and spooky sounds whilst everything is going full techno hard are my reasons for this fitting the bill of dark sounding dance.” ipjVkIyFCXU +12 E Nomine - Vater Unser +10 Amelie Lens - Hypnotized (Joyhauser Remix) +08 Noire Antidote - And The Rain Falls Straight Down +07 OTTOMAN GRÜW - We Want Your World And We Want It Now +06 L Ʌ V Σ N - I Thought You Were Real +05 CAIVA - Take Me Higher +04 Vanita - Symbiosis +03 Gesaffelstein - OPR +02 Leftfield – Universal Everything +01 MRD - Out of Red These were also worthy of some points Cottontail - Earworm Fïx8:Sëd8 - Empyrean Ultranoire - Leaving Sensoria Nine Inch Nails - The Hand That Feeds (Photek Dub Mix) KRTM - Touch Me Sidewalks and Skeletons & CASHFORGOLD - Eternal Rest Brandon Hombre & Trip-Tamine feat. Lady Leshurr - Boring Bitches (lewistgreen) So the final scores on the doors…it’s big congratulations to Jade, apparently the queen of Dark, as L Ʌ V Σ N finishes a full 18 points ahead of 2nd placed ARDL from Roba. who himself is 16 points clear of German gem E Nomine from Addy! which ends up a brilliant 3rd on the strength of just 11 votes – most of which were very high points! Going by order of receipt, Jade incredibly picked up points from the first 13 voters! Which is why I had to switch up the order a tad… With KRTM, MRD and CAIVA also in the top ten, it appears CAPS lock is the way to win favour in times of darkness… But a shoutout also to Amelie Lens from k👠th, which finishes in 4th place! Club Bizarre top tens for Dobbo, Doctor Blind, Awardinary, Cow Cow, ITz Cody and Brer this time around while I’m really happy with 13th after envisaging a bottom five finish upon the Imagine Dragons clanker reveal! Down at the bottom we have Cottontail, unfortunately coming off worst for J00prstar in a very close middle pack that sees 15 points separate 12th and 22nd. King Rollo’s Eugene by Numb is in 23rd while unfortunately last – I liked it (!) – is lewistgreen’s Boring Bitches by Etta Bond x Raf Riley feat. Lady Leshurr. One last footnote goes to poor uhsting’s SLAPSLAVE, which roared into a solid position after the opening few votes by order of receipt only to get zero from the final 14 voters! This reveal was certainly kinder. Thank you for joining us for this fantastic edition, thanks to everyone for their inspired choices, it’s been a joy to host and get to know all these entries inside out and I look forward to joining Jade for the 21st edition of the wonderful Club Bizarre!
July 25, 20224 yr Well many congrats Jade, a very fitting theme indeed for you to win! Outside shot at top 3 still :o ah top 5 it is, very pleased at that. Many thanks to gooddelta for hosting this great theme. Edited July 25, 20224 yr by Dobbo.
July 25, 20224 yr my CB curse continues x tbh i'm very proud of this entry because it's slaps so hard. it also got number one on my personal chart so i have no regrets sending this at all and should deserve a lot better. imagine the reveal by the order of receipts  thanks to the 5 voters who pointed me a lot of points to not put me last x i certainly would have loved to finish a lot higher with this slapper but oh well xx thanks gooddelta for hosting! enjoyed the theme tremendously and Jade certainly deserves to win with this track! love the top 5 absolutely xx it's called TASTE and something BJSC needs to learn
July 25, 20224 yr Oh wow!!! I'm shocked as I was fully expecting 'Dancing Like A Monkey' to usurp during the last few votes (FAB entry Rob, as was yours Wardy! gave them 8 and 6 points respectively <3) Thank you so much for all of the points  I'm glad that people enjoyed this so much - dark techno ftw *.* so chuffed with a win (I think that makes 2 in BJSC, Nuggets and Club Bizarre now!) Amazing job hosting Rich - thank you for your hard work <3 no idea how I'm supposed to follow that theme and hosting job!
July 25, 20224 yr Also fab to see Addy's song top 3. What a wonderful track that was. Very Enigma as mentioned who are breathtaking themselves! Thanks Rich for hosting. I loved reading throughout. Great hosting.
July 25, 20224 yr Great to see my 12 point song winning. Congrats to Jade. Thanks to Rich for hosting. There were some really good discoveries here.
July 25, 20224 yr Honestly a theme like this was basically Jade's to lose from day one! Congrats on yet another song contest victory and a very well deserved one, what an absolute banger :cheeseblock: Thank you to Wardy for my last few points there, almost an exact points swap with you! And of course another mega slapper of an entry from Roba revealed last there  if only that was an 11 week UK #1 instead of a certain song with a similar name that I don't like quite as much x Will very happily take a top 10 scrape since it was looking at one point like I was heading closer to the bottom 5 than the top 10! Two (low) top 10s in a row for me in CB :cheer: (which reminds me the result correction I pointed out in the last results thread hasn't been fixed in the stats thread yet, don't think I forgot about that Dan  :kink:) Voted for 6 of the top 10 with Mitchell Claxton and CAIVA both being just a couple of places outside my votes too (they were 12th and 13th respectively with Fïx8:Sëd8 in 11th - oops at me and Chez snubbing each other again, #terraphonia falling on some hard times :'(). 'Vater Unser' was the only one in that top 10 that wasn't fully clicking with me but it is definitely memorable and can see why it did so well too! Would definitely have liked Sexual Purity and Kobe to do a fair bit better than they did, though I did suspect the former at least might struggle a little hence going out of my way to make sure to post hype for it. Thanks for the very orderly hosting Rich, has been a fun contest!
July 25, 20224 yr Thanks Rich for the fantastic hosting  I voted for 8 of the top 10 so very happy with those results and 4th place is amazing! Well done Jade!
July 25, 20224 yr Yay Jade what a great winner! I’m delighted for you being that this theme has your name written all over it! :D I’m glad I could support you on your way and I look forward to seeing what you bring to the next contest! Thanks to everybody who gave points to Leftfield, a very sporadic song selection after struggling with the theme concept but I am glad I slotted into the mix well! ;) Thanks too to Rich for some input before the contest! :kink: See everybody in the Autumn and we go all over again! :jump:

Amazing job hosting Rich - thank you for your hard work <3 no idea how I'm supposed to follow that theme and hosting job! Ha, I couldn't be that cruel after you lead for so much of the evening. By the order of receipt though you were trouncing everyone for ages and then ARDL came up but not by quite enough, I thought it would be more fun to have a rollercoaster ride. Thanks Jade! I've really enjoyed hosting a BJ contest again, despite the blurry eyes from dusting off Excel. Also fab to see Addy's song top 3. What a wonderful track that was. Very Enigma as mentioned who are breathtaking themselves! Thanks Rich for hosting. I loved reading throughout. Great hosting. Thanks Rob, and big congrats on second place, a great entry and deserved runner up! Addy! got the most 12s of anyone, with four, a very marmite track apparently but enough to see him top three! Great to see my 12 point song winning. Congrats to Jade. Thanks to Rich for hosting. There were some really good discoveries here. No problem Rollo, thanks! Thanks Rich for the fantastic hosting  I voted for 8 of the top 10 so very happy with those results and 4th place is amazing! Well done Jade! Thanks kath, much appreciated! July 25, 20224 yr Yes a much preferred 11 week #1 than Tones (although I didn't mind that to start with x)!
July 25, 20224 yr Spare a moment to thank Dan for tirelessly updating the CB scoreboard and historic thread every time we do one of these!
July 25, 20224 yr Author You'll note btw that the scoreboard is presented in order of receipt...what could have been!!!
July 25, 20224 yr Congrats Jade on a well deserved techno stomping win. Great to see Amelie Lens make the top 5 also and most of my other faves making the top 10 though sadly not myself - I thought melodic techno would be worth a try as I figured there'd be a lot of competition for harder techno but I guess it's just not as popular over here. The next Club Bizarre is due in October but would would people perhaps be up for a little Best Of round in the interim, now that we've had 20 contests? Would be interesting to pit all the 20 winners together. I must sleep now so the stat sheet will be updated tomorrow.

July 25, 20224 yr Congrats Jade! A great winner and glad it was one I voted for, did always strike me as something that could do really well. Dance Like a Monkey was a fantastic discovery too. I voted for quite a few of the top 10 and as I said, I really liked most of the songs here so no complaints (apart from Noire Antidote deserving better) Thank you to all who voted Fix8, that's quite an improvement given the dismal BJSC performance, he has a wealth of wonderfully dark material so I was pleased I was able to send him again. Thanks for the excellent theme and hosting Rich, gonna be a tough one to follow! I would love the idea of a Best of... Club Bizarre as well, there was a similar one for Nuggets and UP done a while back.
