I can’t say Jinkx didn’t deserve it, but what was the point of the lipsync for the crown if they were going to just crown her anyway? Nobody can convince me she won either of those lipsync I’m sorry :lol: Jinkx and Monet were the two who deserves it most but it should have been a different finale format if they were just going to crown Jinkx anyway. I also think the Queen Of All Queens should be more well rounded, like Monet, I love jinkx but she only won comedy.

 

I hate being a conspiracy theorist over it but it felt like they were cut weirdly and edited down to be brief so that they could hide the fact Jinkx got owned. In saying that, every single queen in the cast would have been a worthy winner and every single one has proven why they’re a winner in a great season, that’s what I’ll focus on.

 

Raja winning the other bracket feels SO right too, she feels like a legend of her own level even in this cast. I have to say I didn’t expect her to win a lipsync over the other three but she has such an effortless style and you can tell she simply had fun and let loose and she’s just so cool and majestic every time she’s on that stage.

I don’t feel like either were based on the lip syncs…

however I’m over the moon Jinkx won I think she was the most deserving although I wouldn’t have been upset if it was Monet either. Would have like Vivienne to win the other one however Raja fully deserves it too she has been great this season, but Yvie clearly won the lip syncs haha.

I think it was fairly obvious that the lipsync powerhouses behind this performance were obviously gonna slay…

 

 

In all seriousness i don’t think Jinkx did particularly well in the lip syncs but then again I wasn’t really blown away by anyone, especially considering it’s a grande finale lipsync smackdown to decide the winner of all winners that they’ve known about all series. All six lipsyncs were worse than the other two that came out of the franchise from France and Canada 3 tonight imho.

Apparently they cut the best moments from the lipsync, like Monet had Trinity and Shea and Jinkx on lipsticks like she was sending them home on a normal All Stars, plus they cut most of the Nicki rap. Monet spilled on her podcast with Bob and she seems mad which tbh I get

Those lip syncs... This episode was so underwhelming and predictable. :lol: Best lip sync was Monet Vs Trinity. Monet beat Jinkx by far in the final lip sync too. Also how on earth did Raja beat Yvie? :lol: Yvie did much better I thought - I also loved her pretend wig falling off stunt.

 

Shea really disappointed me too. I would've thought she would beat Jinkx but she looked like she did when Sasha beat her, more of a background dancer going through the motions as opposed to fully lip syncing the song.

 

In saying all of that, the lip syncs were all edited really weirdly. There were multiple bad cuts, parts where the queens lips didn't match the words etc. Dare I say the worst Lip sync finale so far?

I'm glad Jinkx won don't get me wrong, but I was hoping for a more intense lip sync smack down with maybe a couple really good ones. For the most part they were OK. Monet vs Trinity was the only good one tbh.

I meant the format and the way the show is structured to be all about these final lip syncs but not the season itself — it renders everything a little pointless, especially when you then don't crown the queen who won the lip sync.

 

It just leads to disappointment for everyone. They need to figure out something new because this is often just underwhelming.

Yes I agree. I feel they should have a multi-faceted finale. Perhaps a points based system ranking the final 4 in a number of categories? Like a ball with multiple looks, the top 4 song they usually do (Read U Wrote U etc), a lip sync and some sort of roast.

 

Although perhaps it'd be too much as it'll be like 4 challenges in one. :lol:

Monet killed that last lipsync. This was a letdown. But they would never let a queen who won on the second try be Queen of All Queens.

 

I kinda disagreed with nearly every lipsync winner. I would've given Viv Push It and Jaida the first song over Raja. I do however feel that Shea once again didn't bring her A Game. It almost felt like she threw it!

It was disappointed lipsync battle across the board…and those songs choices :vomit:

 

I had no clue who was going to win each lipsync because of shitty editing but it was obvious they were going to crown Jinx as soon as Ru said the winner is going to be based on this lipsync and the entire season!!!

 

They need to change the final episode format for sure!!!

Trinity won that lip sync against Monet tbh and Jinkx was the right winner between her and Shea. Surprisingly I would have agreed that Monet was better than Jinkx in the final lip sync but it would have been such a disappointment if Monet had won, I feel like she's very middle of the road and idg the hype around her whereas Jinkx is so much more entertaining regardless of what the challenge is. Sure she's a "comedy queen" when it comes down to it but it is a skill to be able to bring that to everything she does. How many comedy queens can you think of that are good at maybe just snatch game or a roast but aren't actually funny naturally? Or they may be funny as a person but suck when it comes to doing impersonations/improv/scripted comedy? Jinkx can do it all. I think the right queen definitely won I just wish the finale wasn't the lip sync set up so you feel she did win in the right way if that makes sense?

 

Overall one of my favourite seasons to date, up there with S6, AS2 and UKDR2 for me
