I'll have to catch up hearing this on the chart on a catchup but MOAC is up to a new Spotify peak of #27 today! Would love this to push for top 20 or even top 15 officially!

Re conor: I'm not sure. It's possible they could wave it as it's just taken off now. Wouldn't be fair really. It's understandable with certain other songs and why permanent acr is in place for them though.

Sigh, that was my introduction to the slow + reverb version and it unsurprisingly sucks the life out of it :lol:

 

Well, that aside, this is now easily one of my favourite top 40 hits of the year in its proper form :heart:

Up a few more places to #28 this week.

So i've listened to the slow version again and it doesn't sound too bad I guess but I do hope Radio 1 don't insist on keep playing it and play the normal version.

Inspired by the above, I've just listened to the remixed version again and it still makes me feel like I'm having a stroke, so it's a big 'nope' from me still

not too keen on the slowed version, there is a sped up version that i really like but the original is the best easily! Such an incredible song and i'm so glad it made the top 30 last week! deserves the top 10 for sure though i doubt it'll make it there

also, falls to #32 in the update (from #28 officially last week) but it always seems to climb from the update so i'm not too wirried that it'll fall (last week it was #33 in the update and was up to #28 officially so....)

It would help if HHUK didn’t ignore it!

HHUK are very selective with what they opt to help out and this year especially has been noticeable for some songs that I've loved or liked.

I suspect they’ll leave it on ACR until it declines for 3 weeks in a row. They seem to make the rules up as they go along in that kind of scenario though.

I'm not sure that a song with this kind of lyrical content is likely to get much mainstream support or airplay. When was the last time that a hit so blatantly juxtaposed images of the mother of Christ with references to drug use, sexual intercourse, alcohol, menstruation and pregnancy?

Bye Bye Ghost :cry: it was a nice brief time knowing ye. Annoying that OCC booted it to ACR just cause it slide past the 3 year mark though but I did think it could have peaked at #28 when I saw it drop down after so it was great it got that far even.

It slid past the 3-year mark a couple of weeks ago! So last week was a bonus. It’s a shame the rule is a thing though for songs that haven’t charted before.

the 3 year acr hit it, falling 60 spots from #35 to #95 :(
