I feel the heartfelt that Toni Braxton showed in Un-Break My Heart.

which is ironic, as Diane Warren has said she has never been in love or in a relationship (and she's happy with that as she didn't want it to interfere with her songwriting - and its hard to argue with success). My absolute fave Warren song, though, is Numb. So good PSB's agreed to do it, and so good it was played over the England team's exit from that year's Football extravaganza.

As near as she ever came to a chart topper, and featuring a pre-fame Jennifer Lopez in the promo.

With some rather saucy lyrics it lost out to the rather less risqué B*Witched

High hopes of this group when they hit big but they were only ever 2nd league in the boy band stakes- shame as this is a tune.

'Perfect 10' is fab. Not a bad finish here for that really.

I didn't check out the songs I didn't know on the playlist but 'Crazy For You' is good too now I have heard that thanks to the Survivor. Unsure if I'll still have found room to vote it though mind.

'That's The Way Love Goes' is lush  another one that I had a timely reminder of through TOTP repeats recently. I was new to the video so J-Lo popping up in it was a surprise!

Seem to be losing a significant number of my top 10 now. I've definitely got into The Beautiful South (& Housemartins) more in recent years, a phenomenally good singles band and Perfect 10 is absolutely magnificent

I have no recollection of ever hearing that Let Loose song

Edited by RabbitFurCoat

Perfect 10 was definitely in my top 40, a wonderful track.

But Crazy For You <3333 What a great boyband single. The last minute or two of the song is fantastic.

Unpopular opinion but I just find Perfect 10 annoying! Crazy For You is a good tune though.
Let Loose's Crazy For You is one of my fave boybands ballads of all time. I mean the Radio edit not this live performance. Gezza likes to post TOTPs live performances but the original versions are almost always superior to live performances imo. This has surprised me doing this well here, thanks to the other 4 voters. :D

I kinda like most of the Beautiful South stuff, love Rotterdam, Song for Whoever,

A Little Time, Don't Marry Her, You Keep it All In... but Perfect 10 is rather annoying :o

That was a fantastic song x Janet and should have been her #1

Beautiful South really went down hill after Carry On Up the Charts, for me. I detested Rotterdam and Perfect 10.
I like all 3 of those, poor Janet I lose another from my votes. She was always under-rated in the UK, did much better in the USA, partly because of the House music scene making her Jam & Lewis monsters sound like yesterdays music scene overnight, they tried to House them up for singles but generally they were just cheap knock-offs of the way better originals. This was a change of record label and sound that worked for her (initially).

Ah the reggae revival of 1993- here’s Snow with a tale of police arrest and a rectal search. Good times.

So we lose our first 30 pointer and it’s poor old Narcow who loses it. Not so bad for Sash! who still have two entries left in the rate!

The future Mr Vanessa Feltz (well they aren’t married but 16 years engaged is the same thing) pops up here with some late 90s dance.

'Ecuador' :music: wonder if the next Sash! song will drop at 50

'Turn Around' is one I loved as a child but am not keen on now oops.
