Think I've also climbed back into the top 5 of the voter league (well, joint 5th with Dot) after those couple of reveals - both decent songs but not really on my radar for this rate.

Nor mine, but Whitney was on top form for that Top of the Pops performance - awesome vocals and she looked great. That was a fantastic era, all of the singles were quality.

Surprised the Whitney song has gone was expecting it to be top 20. Londonbeat is good but I had no room for it.

Surprised but pleased I didn't lose anything inside the top 50. :D So, I think I'm number 3 in the voters charts atm. :o
Pretty good songs from Annie Lennox and Whitney, perhaps both in my top 50/60 or so. Don't think I know the Londonbeat song!

oh Whitney leaving is a big loss, My Love is Your Love is a genius song and totally deserved #1

LB is a decent song but not essential

Here’s Buzzjack’s third favourite No 2 of 1993 which came a cropper at the hands of Take That’s first chart topper. It attracted a new rate record of 11 voters!

This had the misfortune to be released in that same week at “Baby One More Time” so it makes our rate.

Tomorrow we'll get to the top 40 but not before someone else loses their 30 pointer!

Me and Rich both giving The Corrs our 28 *.*! Amazing song, shame it missed the top 40 tbh but it's done very nonetheless and 'What's Up?' is also a great song too that you hear on the radio very often still.

Another two for me out. How quickly I'm losing loads now.

Runaway <3 Comfortably in my top ten songs of all-time, which gives you an idea of where my 30 and 29 pointers rank on that metric!

Was gutted they put it out on the same week as...one of the biggest songs of all-time, it deserved to be a No.1 hit.

Then again it was a curious release, a polished radio mix of a four-year-old song from their previous album Forgiven Not Forgotten, which was also charting at the same time as then current album Talk On Corners (on one occasion around this period they were at No.1 and No.2 in the album chart simultaneously, it's easy to forget just how big they were *.*).

Talk On Corners had been re-released to add the new version of this track, so both albums contained different versions of this song. And now if you check the streams tally on Spotify, this hit remix has just over 200k plays while the flop original has 67 million...so perhaps they should have just re-released that.

What's Up is great too, an anthem and one that narrowly missed my vote. Linda Perry is such a talent.

Runaway is my favourite Corrs song

So one out so far of your top 3, Rich!

Yep! I’ve only got 11 songs left in this now

Yep! I’ve only got 11 songs left in this now

Let’s hope the 11 hang on!

So glad Runaway found some love here - what a sublime and unique song.

I’ve Been Thinking About You is one of the most infectious 90s tunes for me - had to throw that a lot of points too.

What’s Up is another nearly made my votes.

Two songs I voted for today and the first loss from my top 10! What's Up? is an enduring cut from 1993 and that first and last line still rings true, only the number of years changes. Runaway (misspelling forgiven) is a captivating song, beautifully sung and performed - their earlier singles had rather passed me by, but this one caught me instantly.
I wonder if Popchartfreak receives privileged information from Gezza. ;)

Nah im just realistic about its chances of anyone rating it as highly as me  it well exceded my expectations! :yahoo:

Also lost Annie, plummeting down the list now. I bought the original version and i think they toured with eurythmics so it was lovely if Annie to cover the unusual ballad and give em some success :cheer:

Kinda used to like the Corrs during their first 2 albums

always preferred the original versions to those remixes

my fav tracks ere never single (I think), Heaven Knows from their debut and Queen of Hollywood from TOC

but they lost me as a fan when they went full pop with Breathless/In Blue

The only song called Runaway I like is from Galantis.

I'm thinking I could lose my 30 pointer tomorrow. :o
