Moving over the 300 point level with this one that collected maximum points from West and attracted points from a new rate record of 20 voters out of 31! It’s also our second favourite No 2 of 1997.

Oh wow - Torn not making the top 10 is the biggest shock of the entire rate for me. I thought that would stand a real shot at winning the whole thing as it's so popular across people will very varying tastes.
well that just wont do, Torn and FBS are both 90's super-number one tracks in the main chart that counts - mine! :o Torn not top 10 just seems so wrong!

Well I already know what Rich's last vote went to now ;)

'Torn' out is a surprise. I'd have expected that to be top 5 at least. I do like it and it's a classic but I actually prefer 'Shiver' to it but both great songs.

'Right Here Right Now' is an anthem too and tbh might have been one of the last 10 I cut but I can't remember now.

It was difficult to choose a favourite here but 'Right Here Right Now' has always been such a mesmerising piece of dance music for me and felt like the one after some deliberation  my favourite may be out but still plenty to root for at least with 3 of my top 5 still in the game.

Now that Natalie is out I am clinging on to hope that Tammy Wynette can finish as the highest female vocalist here, that would be another retro swerve a la Dusty in the 80s #2s :D

(better not underestimate the power of Madonna in these games though!)

5 of mine making the top 10 then. Pretty good going although I do have a feeling I didn't vote what might be the top 2 here but we'll see.

Edited by Roba!

Dead last, ha at having only one song left in the top ten, but at least I got one. Asbolutely astonished Torn missed the top ten, thought it was possibly even a top three dark horse as I couldn't think who it wouldn't appeal to in some way. Just seems it didn't attract many super high scores.

Better Off Alone in the top ten :cheer:

Back up the voters chart I go with those two! I'm afraid I missed the point when Right Here Right Now was universally declared as the Fatboy Slim single above the other three from the album, but they're all great. I worked in retail for most of the year after Torn's release and would normally hear it on the commercial radio station twice if not three times on a 6-hour shift, so that was enough for it not to appeal to me - sorry!

I have 8 intact in the top 10... and we still await the rogue appearance of You by S Club 7 :D

Stardu St Club 7!

Oh no, I was hoping those calls for it not to be top 10 wouldn't be true  Right Here Right Now is a beautiful dance song, the strings, synths, and video combination is absolutely mesmerising, I much prefer it to Praise You as good as that is too.

Torn is great too, I'm not that surprised it's not top 10 if just because the rest of that top 10 all feel very fitting there, I'm most surprised at Wonderwall still to come, I thought it's overexposure would've grated on a few people but clearly not!

I'm predicting Common People, Justified and Ancient and Ray of Light to be the top 3 though I'm not sure in what order they'll come

Going to predict...

01. Justified and Ancient

02. Common People

03. Children

04. Ray Of Light

05. Born Slippy

06. Bittersweet Symphony

07. Wonderwall

08. Better Off Alone

09. A Design For Life

10. Music Sounds Better With You

I think

01. Common People

02. Justified and Ancient (only one here I don't immediately know I don't think)

03. Wonderwall

04. Children

05. Born Slippy

06. Bittersweet Symphony

07. Ray Of Light

08. Music Sounds Better With You

09. A Design For Life

10. Better Off Alone

Edited by Roba!

:o I suddenly have more faith in 'Common People' winning too if some voters didn't know 'Justified and Ancient'. Take a trip to mu mu land pronto!!

Oh poor Torn

Robbed by Aqua in 1997 and

Now robbed by Buzzjack :/

Did deserve top 10 over Stardust, what is that doing in the t10

And even above KLF or Madonna

Sadness :/

About right for Fatslim boy
