Oooh I'm looking forward to this!

Random observation: she's re-using the Woman in Me era font (from 1997).

There's some very promising reactions from people who've somehow heard it already! :o

From Popjustice:

"YESSSS DISCO BANGER. Co-written by Shura! This is 'new Dua Lipa lead' good."

"Very 80’s / Janet / Prince."

"Absolute Banger!!!"

Also, according an interview in the Sunday Express magazine, the plan is to release a Greatest Hits with 5 new songs and reincarnations of the classic singles, including Eternal singles. Presumably from Steve Anderson, who has done fantastic work with Steps. It looks like this'll be an enjoyable era for Louise fans!

BMG has announced a partnership with management firm Logan Media Entertainment that will see the launch of a new label called Tag8 Music. BMG will handle all the distribution and administration of Tag8’s releases, while LME will deliver the marketing.

^ Louise is one of the artists on their roster!

Colour me excited!!

Oh wow. This is excellent and ridiculously catchy - in an alternative universe this would be a contender for number one.

Well done, Louise.

Found it really boring and I think it sounds "thin"/empty. :(

It's so funky and reminiscent of 80s bops! Lots of hooks to latch on to, and I can see it becoming really infectious with further plays. She seems very comfortable in this sound. Louise is always reliable for a great song

Well done, Louise.

In an alternative universe 35 years ago it might have gone Top 5... 🙈 This sounds straight out of the 80's (no Louise or freshness added), it's fun for what it is though!

Much better than [insert your favourite artist here] [insert your favourite artists latest single here], which FLOPPED and was a COMMERCIAL DISASTER, pure chart poison!!! Unlike Super Magic, which is excellent and deserves number one for five weeks -_-

Louise is fronting the new Peacocks advert, featuring Super Magic!

Not a great NMF UK position (#86) but well, at least it is included!

Admittedly there's not many responses here yet to guage overall reception, but I'm a little surprised that it's mixed so far.

I've only had chance to play it once in full so far (plus I've heard the clip used in the advert), despite this the chorus is going round and round my head! :music:

I'm wondering when she'll announce the re-recorded Greatest Hits / put up the pre-orders? It's supposedly scheduled for a Spring 2023 release but I suppose it's never too early to launch the pre-order.

On Radio 2's playlist from Saturday

That’s promising, hopefully this can at least be a decent radio hit. I can’t fault the song myself, definitely hyped for the other new music after this.
