In more important news hooray for Drugs from Amsterdam looking likely to be a future hit now, entering in the top 200 today, it wouldn't surprise me if this has a very quick climb to the top like ATF/BOTA before it.

 

I've not heard this track yet, I assume its there because of TikTok. In Ibiza by Mike Posner teas with the title - they'll have to just call it Amsterdam on radio.

theyre talking about lewis capaldi's new song not louis tomlinson, but i do agree that louis' new song is a banger and deserves as much love as harry's stuff this year!

That would be better I agree, having now heard it, '...in Amsterdam' is a bit flat for my liking, like FISHER at his least interesting.

It's really hard to predict without hearing the song how Lewis Capaldi's comeback is going to go. He could do an Adele or he could do an Emeli Sandé. My guess at this moment is that he'll debut top ten but not #1.

Don't think Capaldi is gonna do an Emeli Sande, think his Spotify support is gonna be massive and his label is gonna ensure he does well

His label has always had the upper hand with Spotify, having him super high on NMF with his first releases when no one knew him

adding him to HH when no one knew him, switching song on HH when no one knew they were the new single, label power ka ching!! :D

I doubt it'll do an Emeli Sandé but I could see it underperforming dependent on the song, a lot of support doesn't necessarily mean a huge hit.

 

I mean Before You Go didnt debut at #1 and that is when he felt a lot bigger, we will have to see.

I’ve seen quite a few people already sharing his announcement of the single on social media. I think it’s going to be a very safe debut at #1, not Adele or Ed massive but I can’t see it not debuting at the top tbh.
