I’m sure a few months ago people in these threads were wondering if TikTok was having less of an impact on the charts than before. :lol:

it's crazy the effect, Spotify shouldn't bother making playlists cos that's not what makes/breaks hits anymore

Those TikTok effects tho...

 

Now if only the Asian TikTok trends like Rex Orange County, Fujii Kaze, and IV of Spades could reach there as well. :)

Wow at all those old songs getting new peaks (post-2016 at least)! Wonder how many of them can get resets :P a fair few of them would get new peaks or chart for the first time ever if they did!

Tom Odell's archived daily peak now matching his original weekly peak! Hooray for the continued climbs for 'Sweater Weather' and 'Bound 2' as well + a couple more great old songs lower down that I hadn't noticed resurfacing ('No Church In The Wild' + 'Where Is My Mind?' <3) and good to see Kordhell continuing to inch up + Zach Bryan re-entering (those two songs having near exact opposite vibes but loving both of them at the moment :lol:)

 

I noticed that JVKE and d4vd made Hot 100 debuts in back to back weeks, seems they may do the same here but the other way round. Good times for people going by common male names spelt slightly wrong.

It’s tanking on Spotify and just about out the top 100

I expected this to go top 5 at least on release, bit of a disappointment

Ooh I can get behind TikTok latching on to 'Where Is My Mind?' :heart: I know that Pixies were an inspiration for Kurt Cobain, so makes sense that it'd be the kind of thing to resonate on there, after 'Something In The Way' went down so well alongside the Batman exposure. I adore 'No Church In The Wild' as well, that feels so much bigger than a song that just scraped the top 40 <3

 

From more up to date (and higher up!) movement I'm also pleased to see d4vd cracking the top 40 now *.*

505 is, that's been consistently in the US Spotify top 50 for weeks now! Tom Odell hasn't been that high, but has been in their top 200 for a while.
