Whilst part of me would want Johnson to win just to disintegrate the Tory party, the market reaction and economic impact of it wouldn't be a good thing.

MAKE SCOTLAND INDEPENDENT

I've lived partially in scotland for decades, we need a UK pm who will STOP an independance referendum. Nicola Sturgeon is evil. If she doesn't leave soon, her reign will look like that of a dictator

Would a dictator give their nation a choice on whether to become independent or not? Or would a dictator be someone who would block the people from this vote just so that they can remain feeling superior?

So sorry, my teen nephew somehow got onto my laptop (where my account was logged in) and wrote this utter garbage, so sorry about that. No christmas Presents!

I believe that less than I believe anything that comes out the mouth of a Tory, or a member of there Russian government
Are there many Tory teens out there who despise Nicola Sturgeon?

Boris has 100 backers now (according to a source from his campaign team) which basically means he's definitely coming back, "yay"

publicly, he only has 50 so far with Rishi leading

Rishi Sunak - 114 MPs

Boris Johnson - 50 MPs

Penny Mordaunt - 22 MPs

Might be lying for the Sunday newspaper print deadline to drum up support. Otherwise, Richi Rich will walk it and get in with no public vote.

It looks like teens just despise anyone in charge of the government tbh. I'm hoping we don't have many "Tory" teens (more like far right teens) out there but then the popularity of Andrew Tate would suggest otherwise. :(

Given the insane rate of support for independence with the under 20 age group, I’d feel quite confident the number of Scottish teenagers who would be of that view would be very low

Boris Johnson reporting that Boris Johnson is popular.

HUGE if true!! However, I'm struggling to fully believe it.. he's on 57 public declarations right now apparently. Kemi Badenoch breaking cover to declare support for Rishi Sunak (as well as many other outriders for the right of the party) makes me think it'll be a struggle for him to get to 100. Not impossible, but less likely than I thought yesterday.

Judging by the numbers that Guido Fawkes has he's on course for around 110. But that if the split doesn't change now. I'm wondering if he's going to make it as the number coming out for Rishi has jumped up.

The momentum seems to all be with Sunak and rumours abound of a Johnson surrender this weekend.

Torn between not wanting this embarrassing, damaging, basket case situation of hideous leaders to go on vs the inevitable destruction of the Tory party and big Labour win if Johnson gets back in...

I'm verging to the latter emotionally although head says Sunak should be PM.
