This is better than that Material Girl mess, but not as good as any of the Frozen remixes.

 

Hung Up is such an anthem, so taking the tempo down like they have here really loses something.

This is painful.... This whole era (if one can call it that) is something we will look back on as the dark ages!!!! Sometimes I have to pinch myself to remember how significant and wonderful M's legacy was/is.

the thing is... whilst this era is painful to watch... it seems like she's having the most fun in a long time.

If they wanted to do that wouldn’t it be very easy to arrange a collab with a big name like Drake, Kanye or Britney! Imagine a Hold Me Closer-esque remake of Papa Don’t Preach, Hollywood or Open Your Heart!

Meh. Feel like with this video (as well as some of the images she’s been posting and obviously with the 30th anniversary round the corner) Madonna’s trying to recreate the Erotica era but, whilst that had a vision and purpose, this just feels gratuitous and reductive.

The irony of Madonna herself becoming reductive...

 

I found the video a kinda uncomfortable watch tbh
