Considering the latest hit with the word "forget" in the title, it caused me to want to see what other hits there have been over the years, so let’s have another mini chart rate for this selection of songs which have been forgotten but are now remembered. UK Top 20 hits only.

What are your faves and which ones do you want to remain forgotten?

Simple Minds – Don’t You (Forget About Me) [#7 in 1985]

Noisettes – Never Forget You [#20 in 2009]

Zara Larsson & MNEK – Never Forget You [#5 in 2015]

French Montana feat. Swae Lee – Unforgettable [#2 in 2017]

Patrice Rushen

Simple Minds

CeeLo Green (although the proper version >>)

Zara & MNEK

French & Swae Lee

My Top 5:

Simple Minds – Don’t You (Forget About Me)

French Montana feat. Swae Lee – Unforgettable

Noisettes – Never Forget You

Patrice Rushen – Forget Me Nots

Zara Larsson & MNEK- Never Forget You

I ticked the last 11 plus Simple Minds and Milli Vanilli (I don't care that they didn't sing on their records, the songs were great!)

Top 5:

1. Dannii

2. Noisettes

3. Milli Vanilli

4. Take That

5. Feeder

Pleased to see the Noisettes are currently ahead of everyone else, certainly wouldn't have predicted that!

I voted for Take That, Noisettes and French Montana, a few other decent songs on there but those are the only ones I really love (and honestly 'love' is pushing it for Take That but it is one of their best songs and I didn't want to only vote for 2 lol). Noisettes probably my fave of the 3 (so hooray at them winning this poll currently x). There are a lot that I haven't heard as per though.
Voted for The Motors - Forget About You (a great punk era pop song that also sounds like the theme from Grandstand, the old sports programme), U2, Noisettes and French Montana. The Simple Minds song is a bit overrated but OK, and I haven't heard the Lewis one enough times yet.

I’m actually very surprised to see Noisettes leading this poll comfortably as I would always have said that this song was highly overshadowed by their debut Don’t Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go which peaked a lot higher. Their follow up single only reached #20 so only just fit the requirements for this poll too!
'Never Forget You' is way ahead of 'Don't Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go)' on Spotify streams (105 million vs. 11.7 million) - and I'm not surprised, although DUTR(GBG) was a bigger hit on paper I'm pretty sure I remember hearing NFY just as much if not more at the time and definitely more in the years after release whereas DUTR(GBG) felt quite quickly forgotten! (insert your own jokes)
