Hashim 5

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark 4

Thomas Dolby 3

Oh yay for Mamman managing to make someone's medal positions in the end, definitely wasn't expecting that! Thank you very much Dan <3 (I guess it would kind of make sense for you to be its biggest fan with it appealing to the minimal piano-y side of your taste)

Vicious Pink really just dominating this though, so many 12s!!

I can now declare Vicious Pink as the winners. Congratulations to Jade. The battle for 2nd place rages on. 12 points from Daan help John Foxx go back to that position while only one point separates the songs in 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Ty Dan for a few points there, hopefully that's enough to avoid the bottom of the table!

Oh wow this must surely be the most top scores I've ever received for a song contest entry?! Merci RabbitFurCoat

Gosh is there anything Jade can’t win. :drama:

Unknown Pleasures and Pop Forum Song Contest :teresa:

Very happy with that win for Vicious Pink… maybe the radio edit would have done worse after all! Or possibly just blitzed everything even more easily

Congrats Jade on already mathematically having the win then! :cheeseblock: I am quite pleased that this didn't just end up being a win for Pet Shop Boys / Depeche Mode, not that these were super well known songs by them of course but still imagine they will have enjoyed at least a little bit of familiarity bias.
Wow, very deserved lead for Vicious Pink! Why did it flop so hard on release? Lack of promo/airplay?

It had an 11-week Top 100 run though!

Congrats Jade, such a fantastic track, and I'd never heard of the artist either, a really inspired choice.
Jade about to start her fifth row of widgets then! Congrats

Oh we don’t have one yet… but if someone wants to design an OAP disco dancing on a zimmer frame then that would be just fab

I figured we could rely on Wardy asking for one to be made :kink:

Congrats Jade on a quite spectacular win! Didn't see this landslide coming at all, but I'm really pleased an inspired song won and a great one at that. Rooting for Charlie or John Foxx to get 2nd!

Jade about to start her fifth row of widgets then! Congrats

Ooh we don't have one yet actually, someone give Joseph a nudge x

I figured we could rely on Wardy asking for one to be made :kink:

Hey it’s not for me! Jade might not want one anyway. :P

But if I were to select something that described best song contest ever in a retro forum it would be a jukebox!
