Downloaded! So happy they’re getting those extra sales. Do we have to actually download the song after paying for it for it to count as a sale or is that just in the US?

 

Has to be downloaded to count - same from places like 7Digital and Juno etc,, the sale only counts if it’s downloaded after payment.

Does anybody else notice the glitch at 2:52 and 3:04?

I literally can’t believe this is happening - when it started to do well at the beginning of the week I got my hopes up we might end up with a #39 entry at best and now it’s looking at being Top 30 and is still growing daily on streams and social media coverage :cheeseblock:

So pleased and the song deserves it.

 

But do we need to create banners for socials to get people to buy the mp3? The digital sales are so low.

If she gets that Top 30 then it's her first time of doing so since Into The Blue 9 years ago??

 

I've had this horrible feeling all week that she was going to end up with a position that started with a 4 and ended with a 1, but it looks like it's doing well enough to avoid that.

It looks like the last few weeks you need about 12k to make the top 30 so I think it’ll be close, really hope she can pull it off! The downloads from the website might just make the difference

 

Also not Kylie doing well enough to get a decent chart position on streams alone, that’s incredible

I wouldn't be so sure, I think the increases on Spotify and Apple alone will secure it along with that last minute push they're doing with the extended mix.

 

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say #26 or #27 :D

If the extended Mix gets released and even if it gives 5000 extra streams a day that all adds up

Over 10k for the week already which aside from SB hasn’t happened in a while!

 

Just shows how difficult holding a position is throughout the week because of streaming…it’s bringing in solid download numbers and picking up on streaming but it’s going to be very close….with lower downloads next week it’s going to have to do much better on Spotify especially but the signs are it’s building nicely. 24 on the rolling airplay chart is great too, that has loads of potential.

Even though the download sales decreased yesterday, the streaming increased to help offset that! :yahoo: Presumably the Extended Mix downloads will give her a nice boost today - hopefully taking her download sales to well over 3,000.

 

I'm going to predict that her weekly total will be 9,400 sales from streaming & 3,300 from downloads, giving Padam Padam 12,700 for the week. Which is usually more than enough to stay within the Top 30. Like Aly I'm going to predict back up to #27 for tomorrow's chart!

 

If it does do as much as 9,400 from streaming... recently that figure has been about enough to go Top 40 or come close to it. So, with the way her streaming has gone so well this week, she could possibly have scraped Top 40 without selling a single download!

I am guessing it is only Beyonce who overtook her overnight. And that's to be expected.

 

If that extended Mix is released as an single or an EP on Itunes tomorrow that will be more than enough to keep it high in downlands as kylie fans want that new cover art haha.

Wouldn’t it be another 3000 from streaming if she’s on just under 7500 with 5 days streaming included? That’s 1500 a day average?

 

Or is it that some of the sixth day figures are included in the latest midweek?

Tbh they seem to change those Thursday streams rules depending on how they’re feeling in any given week - just ask Mariah!
