Ha! Just checked this thread to see if I’d missed an announcement it had gone Platinum yet, it’s like a crawl to get there.

Every week I'm expecting to hapoen fir the last few weeks especially when the certification list gets posted in the chart forum. It has to be soon.

Surely just a few padams away from Platinum.

Hopefully it's sometime this month. Ideally this week.

In terms of her "proper" singles (so I'm going to disregard Santa Baby x), it's a bit mad to think that Padam Padam is her 4th best selling single. Nestled amongst #1 singles Can't Get You Out of My Head, Especially for You, I Should Be So Lucky and Hand on Your Heart.

That’s actually a pretty decent figure to have averaged 3.2k a week, good to see it’s still getting plays.

Great news thats its finally platinum, it finally happened.

Next step is the long long wait for it become a million seller😅

I remember being over the moon when it entered at #26 in it’s first week that even if it fell out the next week it was a massive achievement 😂

I've just noticed that Padam Padam is Kylie's first non-Christmas song to achieve a Platinum certification since CGYOOMH!

It's crazy really how few platinum singles she has as some of her older singles were huge hits but the sales climate was low, songs like the loco motion on hand on your heart are songs that you would assume are easily platinum, spinning around and love at first sight are 2 you'd assume from the 00s.
