The obsessing over the midweeks, snapping up the physicals etc., - I’ll never forget being elated that the first mids it was in the Top 30, at that point I’d have been happy with ‘just’ a Top 40 single!.

It was a magical time and like you I soaked it all up and loved it. The debut week was like wow and then watching it climb its way into the top 10 was just super.
