I’m not mad at the 3 sales difference as she is still Top 10 - I would have been LIVID if she had been pushed down to #11 and was 3 sales away from #10 though :lol:

A great start to the week!

 

A 3rd week in the top 10 in the UK (has anyone worked out yet, whether it would have been below Stormzy, if it hadn’t been for the remix being released?)

 

Top 10 simultaneously in Ireland.

 

Number 1 on iTunes for the remix (Olivia Rodrigo seems to have lost momentum at 5).

 

Small climbs on both Amazon streaming charts (8 on the chart that might be Prime; 12 on the chart that might be Unlimited - but 4 songs above it are on ACR).

 

A small climb yesterday on Spotify.

 

Down just 1 today on Apple - though it’s climbed above Stormzy, and Olivia Rodrigo will hopefully be the only new entry to climb above it (though hasn’t done so yet).

 

Another top 14/15 placement is now looking highly likely, and a good chance of a 5th consecutive week in the top 12. I am hoping that with the remix, it can stay in the top 10.

 

At least we know that there is an extended remix ready, and BMG Could easily put it on the Kylie site for some additional sales.

 

Tomorrow’s Spotify chart will tell a lot,

I really don’t think BMG really think into ACR that much.

If Extended mix is getting 47k Spotify streams per day 2/3 weeks after release and virtually on no playlists then I would think Jax Jones could get over 100,000 streams from Friday and also get the original some extra streams from it following on after the remix on Spotify.

 

When the extended mix got released there was a big rise in the original on the Friday. I expect the same this week.

This, I saw the social media push for the album today too - I think that will be their focus now to get lapsed and new fans into pre-ordering the album.

 

PP has done its job for them, big Top 10 single with mass media coverage and introducing Kylie back into the mainstream limelight so now it’ll all be about £££ from the album, of course us as fans want more for the single but for BMG they couldn’t have wished for a better start to the ‘Tension’ era regardless of what PP does chart wise now.

11:00pm and still no UK streaming or download chart has been published in which any New Entry (particularly Olivia Rodrigo) is above Kylie. Our girl is doing well!

 

I know things are likely to be different tomorrow, but I’ll take the celebrations for tonight. Hoping for that 4th week in the top 10!

I still think even bigger things are coming for PP.
