Have we any indication of what it's actual worldwide sales are at the moment, would half a million be a fair estimate?

Am not sure how many cassettes will be old. 500-750 uk?

So many charts in the usa I’m always confused!

 

Anyway I was going to say “yay Kylie, amazing” but Zayn’s week old song entered at 37 (granted, he’s more famous than Kylie in the states) so not sure if Pp’s debut is that big an achievement. What’ll be interesting is how it fares in the hot 100, assuming it enters

Yesterdays: 1,285

Digital: 479

Streams: 2,780

No. of streams: 596,648

Video streams: 55, 632

 

So just over 6000 if the streams hadn’t been halved!

Also 2 sales unaccounted for which presumably is the original cassette!

 

If it was still on SCR, the sales today would be: 6,041

 

In last Monday’s midweek its total was 6,906, so it’s still in decline. Although it did have the boost of the newly released HAAi Remix.

 

I wonder how far behind Top 40 it is? Hopefully the new cassette does get it back into the Top 40 on Friday for a possible last hurrah.

That's not bad. I think keeping top 40 is certainly achievable!

Hopefully we’ll find out later….she’ll probably have a minimum 8000 streaming sales this week so perhaps 10k total with cassette and downloads. Should be enough. 43 not bad considering no new cassette sales included.

I don't think you can compare Kylie, a 55 year old pop star whose last major hit in the US was over 20 years ago, with Zayn, a 30 year old who was in a major boy band with a large obsessive fan base and at least "only" has a gap of six years between the major hits.

 

I think Kylie charting on any format in the US is an achievement considering other major pop stars like Mariah Carey also struggles to chart there. And unlike Mariah, the US has always been more of a bonus market for her.

43 is better than I was expecting. Wonder if there's a chance she can climb back to at least #40 or thereabouts on Friday!

That's not bad. I think keeping top 40 is certainly achievable!

I do to but if it doesn't I'm OK with that too, I'm just hoping it can stick around the top 75 now for another while.

Just got a dispatch email for my 2 x mixtape cassettes so hopefully they give PP a boost.

i think we may see something else released though if enough casssettes released then they may wait until next week. by something else, i mean something gimmicky on her website or an instruumental nothing big

Right so..... tomorrow is US Radio impact day. So far though we have seen nothing come to fruition in terms of streaming? What's the point in radio plays if no one is streaming 🤔
