So BMG making the right decision again then it seems if we get the extended version and a remix on streaming and all download sites next week.

 

They know they will need to soften the impact of the physicals that have counted this week, plus they didn’t pull the remix release forward (as of yet at least) due to Dave most likely leapfrogging by Friday.

Nah I don't think any remix will match the original, and I bloody hope they don't do a rapper remix or smth to reach American audiences (but that one would be the only one which could outperform the original). If they want, they can leave it for single 2 and make in the main mix (although won't be able to be put in her vinyls and probably other physical formats).

 

Regardless of anything it looks very likely it will get at least 9 weeks in the top-40. If it dodged ACR, it could be even more.

Only 9 have 10 or more weeks in the top-40 and 13 have 9 or more weeks in the top-40. Despite 'Padam Padam' not reaching the heights or these singles, it will become one of the longest running singles of hers.

 

A remix is not going to get more streams than the original lol.
I love seeing the pessimists comment because this single has always surpassed expectations every damn week. I'm still rooting for top 10 and if the CDs shipped fast enough and the push from fans it may cling on. But even top 15 is huge. I'm staying positive.

I am staying positive as well. I feel like top 10 could still be possible. It depends how many CDs shipped today and how big this batch of CDs are as well. We will know more tomorrow.

 

I feel this is a great chance of top 10 with the physicals being out.

I dont think they meant that hun, I think they meant that it wouldnt go top 10 or even top 15 some people are saying.

 

I think we all agree (except 1) that a remix would not do better than the original hun.

Done Juno yesterday and Qobuz today - struggled with downloading the Qobuz one though so downloaded the app to be 100% sure I’d downloaded it :lol:

Rumours are it is just the Extended Mix that is out on Friday

 

Hopefully it's done in a 2 song release so we can stream them both together without having to make a playlist etc haha, and the Artwork for the thumbnail will change.

 

Could easily grab some extra streams and downloads to start the week again
