So it looks like the top-10 is still within a reaching distance, the question is how many sales will be reported tomorrow from the website.

 

I think Trojan Horse will be at around 21k tomorrow, also beatable depending on how many CDs and downloads will be reported today.

Hopefully they held back 5000 CD sales ;-)

It wouldn’t be the first time a few thousand have suddenly “appeared”

I’ve upped my prediction from 16 to 14. I am going to be hopeful and say that ‘UK Rap’ and ‘Baby Don’t Hurt Me’ will be 16 and 15. 14 PP; 13 Dua Lipa; 12 ‘Trojan Horse’; 11 ‘Cupid’; 10 Lewis Capaldi.

 

But it would only take a couple of 1000 extra CDs (held back) to climb to 10!

Up to 13 on Worldwide Itunes Chart. Not dropped out of top 20 for 22 days. Unheard of

 

Also moves up strongly on Kiss FM Hype Chsrt which is 7-9pm each evening

So close - I think ultimately it will miss this week but my extra CD singles I ordered in the week shipped today, lots of other people have said the same.

 

At midnight the extended mix is going onto streaming and iTunes so should help for next week.

 

 

My three shipped today too so should count towards tomorrows chart.

 

 

A bit annoyed at them for not releasing the extended mix this week to help boost the sales tbh, if she misses by a few hundred copies then it's their fault for holding it back.

Agreed there’s loads of little things they could have done this week, very well could be her last chance at a top 10, not to sound pessimistic. I just can’t see streaming massively improving from where it’s at and the boost of the CD singles will only last this week, more new stuff will be coming out, I don’t know I really wish they went for it this week when it’s in touching distance. Without CDs top 10 is a big ask

Given that Kylie has made (very dodgy) videos on socials promoting the purchases of PP from her website, right now the point is to attract the sales from there.

I think it’s gonna be #13 tomorrow, that’s my prediction, I’d love top 10 but I can’t see thousands of cds added tomorrow. Still that would be a 10 place climb on last week. And I still think it could climb into top 10 on week 4 or even week 5 if they do remixes (and more cds) but even if it does peak outside top 10 it’s still a HUGE achievement!

Guys it's a long game. She can easily get a top 10. She has moved up the charts.

Everything Is going nicely and giving her longevity

 

In Australia she is now 4, 54 and 72 on itunes plus the extra streaming to the chart week.

 

You complain about Thursday releases and then you want them lol.

 

 

Streaming is the biggest seller so they have to try and get that going and releasing for streaming on a Thursday that doesn't count anywhere would be foolish

 

Have confidence, it's selling great

 

I guess their are a couple of options -

 

1. BMG have other things planned and this is not their ‘peak’ week as much as we all want it to be

2. They have unreported CD and download sales that they feel are strong enough?

3. They want to show radio that Kylie can get a hit in 2023 without having to release 10 remixes and 20 physicals - it proves to them it’s a hit with the GP and will hopefully lead to further support for the follow up singles

 

 

From what we are seeing in the chart thread Kylie is only 300 away from Top 10, this is still brilliant but part of me is a little disappointed that BMG didnt release a remix during the week as it could be the difference of going top 10 or not/.

There are lots of things to think about. ACR for one.

 

They can release downloads and physicals when they want and know what they can sell.

 

That one CD is definitely not the only physical she will have

Lol there are never any guarantees to anything. Anything can go viral, any pop star die, anyone release midweek charts.

 

You have to be confident in your own strategy.
