Denmark are in a different group.

oops so it is, my mistake I thought the first 2 matches televise are from the same group. Gives an slight edge for Mexico and Poland to get through.

The biggest World Cup shock of my lifetime but in no way undeserved.

Argentina were awful, they will need to improve tenfold to justify their favourite tags.

Extraordinary shock! Well played Saudi Arabia. With England scoring six yesterday and now this, it can't be described as being the low key start to the World Cup that we sometimes get.

The only other big ones I can think of is Senegal vs France in 2002 and Argentina Cameroon in 1990 albeit that’s probably more my lifetime lol.

Think this is bigger simply because Middle Eastern football is further behind African football but it debateable!

Yeah agreed on Senegal. That was a debutant vs the defending champions so that edges it for me.

Of all time it's either USA beating England in 1950 or North Korea beating Italy in 1966.

This was an incredible game to watch (maybe not quite as incredible as England v Iran but still great!) Love a good shock but didn't think we'd get one this early on.

Kamil Glik is the fifth player to reach 100 caps for Poland after Robert Lewandowski, Jakub Błaszczykowski, Michał Zewłakow and Grzegorz Lato.

He's also their oldest player at a World Cup finals, at 34 years and 297 days.

Mexico look extremely comfortable in possession and eager to get forward at every opportunity, while their Europpean opponents seem happy to sit back, invite them on and hope to catch them on the break.

Robert Lewandowski is being jeered every time he has a touch of the ball… for some reason.

He's probably the only name a lot of the Mexican fans know :D

Don’t think there has been a shot yet at goal. This has somewhere to go to match what happened earlier.
Shame we got a 0-0 but hopefully it's out of the way now and there'll be no more!

Welp. I've jinxed the tournament now :(

(But good that Australia will now get a point!)

Not much to shout about in that game. Just Ochoa continuing his World Cup heroics.

He has a better World Cup legacy than Messi and Ronaldo!

Gutted I missed the Saudi Arabia Vs Argentina match (the kick off times in this World Cup are horrendous!) but well done Saudi Arabia on causing one of the biggest shocks in World Cup history. They certainly proved me wrong with my pre match prediction and now have given themselves a good chance of making it to the next round. I still expect Argentina to go through but for their 35 match unbeaten run to end like this is extraordinary.

And England 0-1 USA in 1950, even before I was born

Yeh that’s the obvious one!
