Well then, all eyes will be on France to see if they can break the "Champions curse" and with much reported apparent disharmony among the squad and injuries to key players (Pogba, Kante, Varane) this will not be easy pickings at all for Les Bleus.

Denmark I think will win this group, perennially underrated. Fun fact, this is almost identical to Group C from the last World Cup, only switching Peru to Tunisia.

I think France will have enough to top this group even if they've dropped off since 2018, it will be very close at the top though!

My prediction:

1. France

2. Denmark

3. Australia

4. Tunisia

Denmark had the beating of France at the Nations League recently and I have a feeling the injuries to France will mean that continues. I don't think the Champions Curse will strike again though as Tunisia & Australia don't look like being capable of getting through.

1. Denmark

2. France

3. Tunisia

4. Australia

Really impressive performance from Tunisia.

I’m glad the ref went over the VAR and didn’t overturn his original decision. That would have been an incredibly harsh penalty.

Shame we got a 0-0 but hopefully it's out of the way now and there'll be no more!

Given how good Tunisia were, I think the Champions curse could very much be back on.

Best goalless draw I've seen in ages, so much drama! Tunisia wouldn't have deserved to lose that.

Awful defending and France lead- big turnaround from the first 15 mins , Giroud's 50th goal for France with Blur's 'Song 2' as their goal music.

France stepping up a gear now and Australia don't seem to have an answer at the moment.

Six minutes of added time, taking it to over 90 minutes of added time in total at the World Cup so far.
