I can see Belgium doing what they always do and absolutely dominating the group stage, to get everyone's proverbial eyebrows raised and all the hipsters salivating at their outside choice to win the tourno looking very handy indeed. 9 points from 9 and possibly the only team other than Argentina to achieve such?

As for second spot I don't think it's clear cut at all. Croatia understandably favourites but they've such an aging squad - can they cope with the conditions like a Morocco can? Canada will certainly be all guns blazing ahead of their hosting of the next one. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say Morocco squeeze out Croatia either by a single point or via GD...

Chelsea's Hakim Ziyech scored from five yards inside his own half as Morocco beat Georgia 3-0 in their final warm-up match ahead of the World Cup finals in Qatar.

The Blues winger, who returned to the Atlas Lions set-up in September following a long-running feud with former coach Vahid Halilhodzic, spotted keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili off his line in the first half.

I think Croatia are better on paper now than they were 4 years ago when they reached the final so definitely dark horse potential. Belgium are probably not at the peak but should still be safe qualifiers. I think Canada will compete but not be as good as some people are expecting. It will be good practise for their hosting in 4 years.

1. Belgium

2. Croatia

3. Morocco

4. Canada

How many more fouls is Modric gonna commit till they finally give him a yellow

Morocco have been pretty good this second half so far. Even Croatia had a break. I don’t think it’s going to end 0-0.

Morocco vs Croatia is destined for another stalemate...There was only one the previous tournament.

Substitution, Morocco. Abderrazak Hamdallah replaces Youssef En-Nesyri.

Substitution, Morocco. Abdelhamid Sabiri replaces Azzedine Ounahi.

True, didn't realise that!

I thought it was pretty common for goalless draws in the group stages as teams are trying not to lose more than to win. But the second round of fixtures usually means teams have to go for it more which opens up spaces for counter-attacks.

These two could play all day and no one would score.
