November 16, 20223 yr Obvious Brazil is obvious here but I think they'll drop points in one of the games... Not an easy call for second place. Wouldn't even rule out Cameroon (again, conditions favouring yadda yadda). I think the Swiss will win that crunch game against Serbia in match day 3 to join Seleção.
November 17, 20223 yr I am unsure how the Swiss will do, they could do well like the last euros or flop - hard to know with the change of manager! Like I’ve always said if they had a world class striker they would be challengers!
November 18, 20223 yr My prediction is exactly the same as Steve's, I also think it will be 9 points out of 9 for Brazil.
November 23, 20223 yr Brazil should have enough but I don't think they will run away with it as easy as most think they will. Switzerland are always consistent and Serbia look like they've built a good team. Cameroon looked pretty decent at the AFCON earlier in the year but they were hosting so it could have just been that. 1. Brazil 2. Switzerland 3. Serbia 4. Cameroon
November 24, 20223 yr Author Switzerland XI: Sommer, Widmer, Akanji, Elvedi, Rodriguez, Freuler, Xhaka, Shaqiri, Sow, Vargas, Embolo. Cameroon XI: Onana, Fai, Castelletto, N'Koulou, Tolo, Zambo, Hongla, Gouet, Mbeumo, Choupo-Moting, Toko Ekambi.
November 24, 20223 yr I've missed most of the matches so far but today is the first day since the opening day that I can properly watch the matches. Hoping for some games packed with goals but I don't think there will be many in this Switzerland Vs Cameroon match. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends 0-0.
November 24, 20223 yr Author Cameroon look dangerous on counters but not converting those chances into goals.
November 24, 20223 yr Author It's not a bad watch. Similar to what we've already seen with quite a few sides in this tournament.
November 24, 20223 yr Yeah think Cameroon have been slightly the better side so far, not many clear cut chances though in the match so far.
November 24, 20223 yr Author So…which of the CAF teams have the best chances of advancing beyond the Ro16? Obviously last WC was a massive disappointment for African teams, so hopefully that is not the case here!
November 24, 20223 yr Switzerland are always solid and always reach the knock-outs. Let's hope Ghana can actually score later. Cameroon make it 4/4 so far for African teams not being able to score.
November 24, 20223 yr So…which of the CAF teams have the best chances of advancing beyond the Ro16? Obviously last WC was a massive disappointment for African teams, so hopefully that is not the case here! Can't see any of the African teams getting beyond the Round of 16 but I think Senegal have the best chance of all of them. I also think Senegal will be the only African team to make it into the knockout stage. Cameroon were a bit unlucky to lose today but they were just not clinical enough and there was some poor decision making from their attacking players.
