Cameroon score 3 in a game at the World Cup finals for the first time.

This game is throwing all my scoring predictions on their head.

Vincent Aboubakar has represented Cameroon in six major tournaments.

 

He scored the winning goal in the 2017 AFCON final & was top scorer in 2021.

 

Against Serbia, he's taken just 11 minutes to become the first African sub to score & assist in a single World Cup game.

 

Great match. Serbia looked like world-beaters for an hour but then Cameroon subbed on Aboubakar and the Serbian centre-back went off injured and they suddenly looked a shambles.

 

Cameroon are a fun watch! Brilliant attacking play but look like they crumble when they concede.

I do wonder if Serbia and Cameroon would rue not getting the win in their game earlier.

The Swiss will be the happier of the two sides.

Fab to see Cameroon come back from 3-1 down against Serbia! Unfortunate that they need to topple Brazil for a chance to get into the next round though.

He doesn’t have much luck in the World Cup!

I'll be tuning to the Serbia v Switzerland game tonight.

If Brazil win their match against Cameroon they will be the only team to have maximum points in the group stage. I can't think of a World Cup where no team at all won all of their group matches so it could be history being made if Brazil fail to win.
