November 17, 20222 yr Author Girrl... I knew spoilers for this in advance but even then the spoilers were that Pixie was the straight up worst, not Peppa again! Also I was surprised to learn she's nearly 30! She has young queen energy.
November 17, 20222 yr Black Peppa isn't bad at all?? I like that she took her weakness and made jokes about that. Black Peppa said, "Just laugh." and she got me there! It was funny! Should be safe here. Pixie Polite bombed hard on both ends. I wondered how Dakota Schiffer would have fared tbh. Cheddar Gorgeous was kind of all over the place but she did have a good ending. Hoped the edits gave her more time in the latter half if there were some cut. Jonbers Blonde I think deserves to win this time. I like her impersonation of a drunk PM and she nailed it. Danny Beard is good but would've loved to see Jonbers Blonde get a badge at least. She deserved it! Watch Jonbers Blonde win and be the first queen(?) to win the competition with no RuPeter badge. :kink:
November 17, 20222 yr I thought Jonbers was funnier in the roast, but Christ that was a bit of a slog :lol: Jonbers went in the makeover for me but I dread to think of this roast without her and only Danny being funny, as I’m not sure Dakota would have really fared too well. November 18, 20222 yr Author The spoilers had Pixie being the flat out worst in the challenge and then falling ON THE RUNWAY Daya Betty style and kind of sealing her fate then and there. I have to say for me Peppa's attitude to the challenge turned me off a bit. Yes, it's a comedy challenge. Drag Race has loads of them. If that was something you were intimidated by, maybe it wasn't the show for you. Funnily enough I've seen her live show now and I enjoyed it, but I'm really not sure Drag Race gave her any chance to show off the kind of commanding dance and interpretation performances that seem to be her forte. Unlike a lot of UK queens she's not that natural a hostess or comedian. I liked Jonbers and for storyline it would be good for her to have a win, however once again, Irish stereotypes? Girl... but on the flip, she knows what RuPaul likes I suppose. Sigh.
November 18, 20222 yr Was expecting Pixie to be really good in this challenge but nevermind. Danny was my favourite followed by Jonbers. But it was a fairly weak roast overall. Great runways again - Black Peppa's was amazing. I'm expecting it'll be Danny vs Cheddar for the final and the one who wins will likely be the person who does the best on the night as they are pretty much tied in their track record. Unless Jonbers becomes the first person to win without a challenge win. :lol:
November 23, 20222 yr I can't believe how excited I was for these queens at the beginning of the season — they really did eliminate most of the interesting queens. Cheddar... I can't remember the last time I had such a turnaround on a queen. Danny has this in the bag surely?
