November 26, 20222 yr Finally a new album! *.* It's been 9 years since her last studio album. :drama: @1596137691347046400 'This Is Me... Then' was released 20 years ago (25th Nov 2002). It's crazy to think it's been that long! Announced on Instagram with a video that shows the superstar morph from one cover to the other, the record promises to reveal the “emotional, spiritual, and psychological journey she has taken over the past two decades.” “People think they know things about what happened to me along the way, the men I was with—but they really have no idea, and a lot of times they get it so wrong. There’s a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone. And I feel like I’m at a place in my life, finally, where I have something to say about it.”
November 26, 20222 yr I’ll have to give this a listen when it’s released. All I Have was my favourite single from This Is Me… Then
November 27, 20222 yr Wow!! I hope that means it'll sound like a continuation of This Is Me Then. I'd be a little disappointed if the music doesn't at least channel the 2000s, but looking forward to it either way!
November 28, 20231 yr JlKaprWlmj0 uY6ZKFD93Z8 Press release: Jennifer Lopez’s long awaited musical experience THIS IS ME…NOW begins with the release on February 16th, 2024 of a new full length ALBUM and FILM inspired by the music. The release of This Is Me…Now, Lopez’s first studio album in nearly a decade, celebrates the anniversary of its sister album, This is Me…Then, completing a 20 year journey. The album, written and executive produced by Lopez and Rogét Chayed, along with Angel Lopez, Jeff "Gitty" Gitelman, HitBoy, Tay Keith and INK among others, effortlessly blends R&B, contemporary pop sounds and hip-hop beats, combined with her emotional signature vocals is Lopez’s most honest and personal yet. This is Me…Now: The Film is like nothing you’ve ever seen from JL. A narrative driven, intimate, reflective, sexy, funny, fantastical and highly entertaining musical and visual reimagining of her publicly scrutinized love life. Along with Director Dave Meyers, Lopez creates a genre-redefining immersive cinematic experience: an extravagant visual and sonic feast with impressive choreography, star studded cameos, costumes, sets and blockbuster-worthy visuals. Although an astonishing vivid spectacle, the film is ultimately a heartfelt ode to JL’s journey of self-healing and everlasting belief in fairytale endings. Audiences will be captivated and leave hopeful that true love can be more than a dream. Amazon MGM Studios has acquired and will release Nuyorican Productions’ This Is Me…Now: The Film on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Nuyorican/BMG will distribute the highly anticipated This Is Me…Now: The Album. Can't Get Enough, the first single from This Is Me…Now: The Album, will be released on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, and is available to pre-save today on all major streamers along with a 30-second sound clip on social platforms. The film looks so extra and self-indulgent (not a criticism!)
November 29, 20231 yr this was announced a year ago on Saturday.. hope we hear news soon 😅Either this is a complete coincidence or J-Lo's team read your post. :P Glad to see this is still happening!
January 10, 20241 yr I was apprehensive but I actually really like this on first listen! Can’t wait for her proper return it’s been way too long
January 11, 20241 yr There's a lot of vinyl variants for this! Jennifer shows the majority of them here: @1745215347894927399 Left row Artist Store - "Emerald" with signed insert (Alternative artwork 1) Amazon - {hard to describe this colour... Clear with green/black splatter?} (Alternative artwork 2) [Amazon UK Link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-Exclusive-V...L/dp/B0CRRVYJST ] HMV / FNAC / JB Hi-Fi - Green/Black Split (Alternative artwork 3) [HMV UK Link: https://hmv.com/store/music/vinyl/this-is-me-now-(1) ] Urban Outfitters - Glow in the Dark (Standard artwork) Right row Walmart - Cream (Alternative artwork 4) Target - Ruby Red (Alternative artwork 5) Barnes & Noble - "Cloud" (Standard artwork) General release - "Evergreen" (Standard artwork) + also: Spotify - Clear (Standard artwork) This Instagram has various links for purchase: https://www.instagram.com/addictiontovinyl/?hl=en Honestly I'm surprised that the label has completely gone to town on the amount of variants. I'd say it's a bit of a gamble for them to do that... her last album was 10 years ago and it didn't perform well, so they're putting a lot of faith in this new album selling well enough to justify so many different versions. We'll see!
January 11, 20241 yr I haven’t seen so many variants for one album in a long time. I’m sure I’m missing obvious ones though.
