is that a christmas song too?

Nope, it’s ‘Assembly Bangers’ - a song featuring dance versions of various primary school anthems!

Jason Manford is also new at #81.

A big difference with the commercial radio Big Top 40 where Jason Manford was number 21 yesterday !!

Stormzy is the early leader in the albums race this week, as the rapper’s third album This Is What I Mean, the first full-length released on the 0207 Def Jam label, takes flight.

The album has 11,027 physical sales, 2,801 sales from streams and 1,067 from downloads, with its total tally so far standing at 14,895. Cliff Richard’s Q4 release Christmas With Cliff is in second place, with 11,082 sales, comprising 10,721 from physical, 322 from downloads and 39 from streams. Taylor Swift’s Midnights is at No.3 on 7,965 sales, The Cure’s Wish (5,500 sales) is new at No.4 and Andrea, Matteo and Virginia Bocelli’s A Family Christmas (3,943 sales) jumps 11-5.

Stormzy is making his presence felt in the singles chart, where Firebabe jumps 26-6 thanks to 9,890 sales. Hide & Seek is at No.8 on 9,420 sales, while the album’s title-track enters at No.37 on 4,248 sales. Elsewhere, Taylor Swift’s Anti-Hero (14,980 sales) leads the pack as it chases a sixth consecutive No.1 finish, while Meghan Trainor’s Made You Look (12,649 sales) moves up to No.2 as Sam Smith & Kim Petras’ Unholy goes under ACR. Venbee & Goddard’s Messy In Heaven (11,410 sales), Oliver Tree & Robin Schulz’s Miss You (10,622 sales) and Anne-Marie & Aitch’s Psycho (10,273 sales) complete the Top 5.

Big jump for Lionheart despite the Xmas influx!

they performed on strictly last night!

I wasn’t expecting Firebabe to overtake Hide & Seek. I also hope that Firebabe can push Anne-Marie out of the top 5

Oh wow, that’s a massive drop for Stormzy.

It’s hard to imagine him beating Harry Styles’ first-week sales now!

So Mariah carey is no.1 then as she is on around 19,000 without ACR!

There is no way Ed & Elton are not #1 on Christmas chart sadly.

Do you mean officially or in reality as it hasn't reached number 1 in reality yet - it was outsold by both Wham and Mariah last year each week it was 'officially' at no.1?

I wasn't expecting Sophie to show up anywhere so that's a pleasant surprise. Here's hoping her next appearance will be with an actual studio album!

I'd love it if Maz Caz could prevent 'Psycho' reaching the top 5.

Well it's behind Mariah and Wham with them on ACR so unless he really promotes, drops remixes etc then won't get it.
