I'm surprised so many people are so upset by a mediocre at best cover version missing Top 10! Each to their own I guess.

"Another Love" is lovely, it's not something I ever choose to listen to but I can understand why it's so huge.

Biography

Liberating grime from its London domicile in the mid-2010s, Bugzy Malone firmly implanted Manchester on the UK rap map with confessional storytelling in an unmistakable Mancunian gruff. Born Aaron Davis in Greater Manchester in 1990 to a single-parent mother, a young Bugzy Malone followed in his uncle’s criminal footsteps. After being expelled from school and enduring homelessess as a teen, Malone finally escaped Manchester street life after a prison sentence at the age of 16 served as a catalyst. Turning his life around as an amateur boxer before deciding upon a full-time career in rap, Malone released his introspective debut EP, Walk With Me, in 2015, a territorial reworking of grime whose title track installed his area’s calling code (0161) as a regional rap mantra. Its follow-up, 2016’s Facing Time, found Malone wrestling with the rigors of fame and unbosoming himself of traumatic stress, themes he would expand upon in 2017’s resolute declaration of provincial sovereignty, King of the North. Malone’s independent success was ratified in 2018 with his first full-length album, B. Inspired, a proper fusion of grime, Afro-swing, speed garage, and hip-hop, typified by “Die By the Gun,” a reflective third-person tale of the turbulent Manchester street life he fortuitously left behind to become a trailblazer for Northern hip-hop. - Apple Music

So if Another Love has been reset (and good for it, because it's a lush song)... why is it this time? Just December resets?

It only went to ACR in the last couple of weeks, and everything that went in the last few weeks seems to be getting re-set. At least it's consistent I guess.

I don’t really like Another Love but repeaking at the same position it debuted at eleven years ago is incredible.

ten years. :P

Well, I definitely wish that 'Another Love' hadn't blocked 'Do I Wanna Know?' from top 10 back in 2013 now as it was destined to get there eventually anyway

(who knows, maybe AM still can one day too :P)

Definitely hoped this would be higher but glad it's finally top 10! :cheeseblock:
Umm this feels really low. I really don't feel like Venbee, Oliver and I assume Meghan needed a reset tbh.
Bugzy should be higher but at least this one still made it into the top 10.

Argeed.

Resets should be abolished, great to see bugzy top 10 but this does not reflect truth

It's definitely closer to "truth" with more songs on SCR... :P (as much as I'd have preferred no resets too)

hope this doesn't get denied a top 10 peak by pointless resets

also, i thought acr was introduced to keep the charts fresh :kink: clearly me and the occ have different opinions on 'fresh'

If Tom asked for a reset, it proves he’s milking the song. Pointless giving it another reset

CRIMINAL that DIWK didn’t go top 10.

You keep continuing to ignore explanations for why the resets are happening. Please stop making these posts if you aren't actually reading the replies.
