The 4x Platinum certification for Heat Waves is a bit odd. I had it on 2.15m at the end of last year and with only around 175k so far this year. It’s also had a larger jump than it should have in the YTDs this week, so I wonder if they’ve retroactively credited some streams of a version that they hadn’t been counting to it or something like that. That could also explain the increase this week having been larger than expected just from 3 days of Spotify auto play.

‘Without Fear’ is officially his debut album, the self-titled one is branded as a ‘compilation’ of his tracks up to that point lol.

subtle definition, many debut albums would be a "compilation" of all singles up to the release.

I believe the only other artist to have two studio albums at least 13x platinum is Michael Jackson with Thriller 15x platinum and Bad 14x platinum. But neither of these is over 5 million. So Adele would become the first with a 4 million and 5 million selling studio album.

 

Queen may have done it with their greatest hits albums though, with Greatest Hits being certified 23x platinum and Greatest Hits II being certified 13x platinum in 2016 (although unsure if it has definitely hit 4 million, particularly as most stream sales are going towards the former).
