JORDAN!!!!! that was my childhood!

I see Altyr will be the reason for my DNQ… interesting

I have charted Skall and Danæviia's entries in the past so instant love for those  plenty of interesting names popping up elsewhere too (Oneohtrix Point Never, Jon Hopkins etc.) so hypeee

Edit: oh 'Mad Man' is also in the Pop Forum Song Contest right now so already heard that too, was pretty good tbh so wouldn't be mad if that is the pophoe winner this time

Can’t wait to get listening!

Recognised Hendinia, Kyriatine and New Lexico immediately! They all sound something that would be sent to BJSC sooner or later.

My guesses were as follows:

Ok. Respiro is the Italian entry I was guessing, which is a bop and I think it will get picked up sooner or later. Sydan sulaa is my guess for FSR Rontvia for the hint that it has a similar style to a classic but ultimately the view count hint puts this guess to bed. I though Cody would confirm with Chymes given the Australian entry hint and this song does sound like hot property in BJSC.

OMG, Dobago sending the Doctor Jones soundalike that could have represented the UK in Eurovision 1999 <3

I only know a few here, looks like a very inspired bunch to me. I heard Thelonia's the other day and liked that.

also Eastovka sent the best song this contest so it checks out that I’m probably the only person who will give a shit and I’m in the opposite semi

I think you'll all find that Aesthetica has sent this month's winner!

Oh wow, I was considering Fljotavik's song for this very contest and only switched at the last minute! :o Great tune that, love A-Trak remixes so pleased I can help it out.

Looks like quite a good draw for me or at least some that can embrace the madness. This is one of the strangest entries I've sent, but it's a banger and the video is an experience. Safe entries you say? I'm sorry, Dave, but I can't do that...

im really being punished for not viewing the confirmations thread on time huh

I took a little of my inspiration from FSR Rontvia who sent a version of the famous Super Mario Bros theme to BJSC last year, I remembered this other game from my childhood and recently discovered this danced up version which was on Spotify. I hope there’s at least one person that will find this song nostalgic!

d'Áskorza getting their one entry for the year I like in early :kink:

Two songs I know here already, and both from TikTok - the hemlocke springs track is very Santigold/MARINA, and After Like is iconic for the Lisa Rinna M&M meme

I've had a Therapie TAXI track in my potentials for a while so that should be a good one too. Also excited to hear the Oneohtrix Point Never and Jenny Lewis songs!

hopefully this is a good semi for me & Rebecca!

oooh me and eledan are kind of on the same wavelength I see (please vote)

I think you'll all find that Aesthetica has sent this month's winner!

ive’s discography has been fire so far

Love Dive >>>>> Royal > After Like >>>>> Queen Of Hearts > Eleven > Take It > My Satisfaction

Two songs I know here already, and both from TikTok - the hemlocke springs track is very Santigold/MARINA, and After Like is iconic for the Lisa Rinna M&M meme

when Lisa misquoted the song after posting said meme

That semi draw has left me feeling very attacked!

Summericia have sent one of my songs from 2017 (or whenever it came out!) and I'm absolutely dumbfounded to see someone else send it after I've considered it so many times. It's a fab track so I hope it does well.

And :o at Chez also thinking of sending Creative Source. That's another I've almost sent quite a few times now but the more recent A-Trak remix finally felt like the version to submit. As well as having the tempo change trend, the main reason I love it is that it reminds me of something that could have featured on Daft Punk's Homework album.
