Strong top 5. I'd probably prefer to listen to Easy On Me rather than As It Was or BOTA, but given that it's a song you'd associate with 2021 not 2022, I think this top 5 is spot on.

Another #1 that had a very quick rise to the top, though imo it was not good enough for 8 weeks at #1 :kink: still, the speed changes make it quite unique, a fun bop though imo a bit overrated
Aww would have liked Afraid To Feel to be Top 3. For me it’s more interesting than As It Was or Anti-Hero, though they’re both really good lead singles.
Still not really clear if LF SYSTEM and Eliza Rose were the start of a longer trend of slightly more interesting dance hits (the top end of the charts doesn't have much dance in it in general right now) or just a glorious aberration but both great moments when they hit #1 even if I'm not quite as enthusiastic a fan of Eliza as some others are.

'Afraid to Feel' was such a highlight of the year for me, I was hoping it'd start some kind of trend in dance music. Although it does feel like it's been significantly overplayed.

Catching up, I think 'Forget Me' is actually quite a decent song by Lewis' ordinary standards, I'm not too gutted about it crashing out where it did but I'd have probably at least finished it above that Encanto thing.

I think the top 5 is largely decent, I'd probably prefer it go...

3. As It Was

2. Running Up That Hill

1. Anti-Hero

ohhh disappointed LF System missed the top 3

really hope As It Was don't get to the top, ok-ish song bu nothing extraordinary

Hoping it goes;

03 As It Was

02 Running Up That Hill

01 Anti Hero

I'd give AIW a 7/10 and the other two are 10/10's for me !

The lead single from Taylor's huge 10th studio album Midnights, Anti-Hero became her biggest #1. It was very popular on here too clearly. It is incredibly close between #3 and #2 (when i mean incredibly, i really do mean it, you'll see when i post the top 2 this evening!) and it actually came down to precise votes to decide it! I adore this song and i'm so glad it became a huge hit for Tay!

noooo :/ I was really rooting for the Anti-Hero :/

As it Was has no place in that top 2

Ok... pick your team. Who do you think is Buzzjack's favourite #1 of 2022?

Harry Styles OR Kate Bush.

I'll share the results sometime this evening. Like with the rest though, idk when i'll get the chance so it'll be at a random time  :kink:

#01:

I’m happy with either to win as they were my top 2. Maybe Harry more as he got my max points.
I’d expect Kate Bush to comfortably win this now, surprised Harry is ahead of Taylor here
