Sunday streams are usually quite low so I wouldn’t read too much into it just yet.

Miley is down nearly 200k from the same day last week. Of course she's far enough ahead that she can afford that kind of slump for now though.

Miley has lost the #1 in the US to SZA so seems to be running a bit out of steam

If a new Rihanna release would be the same quality as her last couple she can just happily stay retired please :P

What kind of song would Rihanna have to release to do well today? She has so many great songs but most of them would sound very out of place or dated if released today I think. I couldn't imagine something like Unfaithful or S&M or Shut Up And Drive or anything else being in the charts today.

 

Maybe she could do something like SOS but for the 00's instead of the 80's, I think people would like that. I think Anne-Marie did something similar but I didn't like the beat on that one.

Just noticed that PinkPantheress/Ice Spice are #19 on US Spotify!! And the original at #46 too :o

 

Guess Ice Spice will be credited on it for the US charts although I doubt they'll bother changing the credit with the OCC here.

She can continue from Anti and she'll be fine, that's modern r'n'b and nothing to do with early Rihanna

Or she could quite easily do something with a bit of an 80s vibe along the lines of 'Blinding Lights' or even 'Flowers'. Anti was fine but I'd love her to come back with something commercial and poppy.

I think Rihanna will most likely be fine with whatever she releases when (if) she comes back proper, it's not like she's stuck to a particular sound throughout her career.
