But both had long periods of not charting top 40. The only years that Pink hasnt charted top 40 since 2000 are 2005, 2014, 2015 and 2022 which is pretty amazing. Coldplay are similar too as are Beyoncé and Eminem. That’s not to say Mariah and Britney didn’t have consistent runs like this but they weren’t quite stretching to 20+ years despite having recent hits.

To be fair Britney was/is on hiatus since 2016, until then she was getting top 40 hits very consistently (yes, Make Me… did just barely miss due to how stagnant the charts were in 2016). And Mariah got them almost every year until 2014, she only missed in 2004, 2007, 2010, 11 and 12. We’ll see if Pink continues to get top 40s but yes it is impressive

Not everyone who buys a ticket to a Banquet Records show also gets an album, so it doesn’t guarantee 3k sales

They usually have 100 tickets available for each show without the need for a physical, so maybe 2,800 sales. Either way it will give her a healthy boost.

I hope RAYE gets a #1 album either as a debut or further down, also happy if Shania lands the #1

Unless her streaming picks up a lot it's definitely going to be this week or never!

She's been a mildly better physical seller than I expected/feared which is great ofc but the streaming outcome is still disappointing if not shocking.

Has anyone compiled a list of the artists who have had a new hit in the most unique years? I wonder if P!nk may be starting to inch towards the top of that list.

(also I would definitely consider anyone who can reach the top 40 multiple times sufficiently 'relevant' in the streaming era! Worth noting as well that P!nk's singles have tended to still have pretty lengthy chart runs even when they don't peak that highly, for example 'All I Know So Far' did only scrape into the top 40 for a week yes but it spent 10 weeks in the top 50, and it looks like 'Never Gonna Not Dance Again' may do similarly)

HOW YOU DARE??

This is like your posts in 2013 all over again!

Wow! Shania looks really good for a 57-year-old :o

So 'Trustfall' has climbed but 'Never Gonna Not Dance Again' has dropped out? That's fine, I'll take that.

'Never Gonna Not Dance Again' is #40.

Happy to see P!nk climbing! Hoping she may climb some more and end up in the top 25 on Friday. Then next week get into the top 20.

Miley down quite a bit this week compared to last. But she should be on for another 85-90k which is fantastic!

Not much of a Grammys boost, although happy to see "Cuff It" getting a boost and Renaissance back in the top 20 on the albums chart - hoping both hold or climb a little come Friday.

I remember in 2020 when "Perfect" was forced onto ACR. I wish they did the same with "Another Love". On the other hand, it’s good to see Miguel closing the gap on Taylor. I hope he can overtake her by Friday
